Japan is a nation occupying an archipelago, or group of islands, in the western Pacific Ocean.
Principal exports of the Japanese include Godzilla movies, tiny electronic thingies, and excellent copies of German cars.
It is also a fairly frequent scapegoating target of neocons who, expounding upon a general sentiment of xenophobia directed towards the Far East, accuse it of subversive religious and philosophical ideas.[citation needed]
