RationalWiki's monthly expenses are around $60-$70 a month depending on bandwidth usage. The hosting costs are met through four means. The first is ad revenue earned when users click on displayed ads. The second is through monthly pledges of Pi and 2Pi dollars by our users. The third is lump sum donations by our users. And last, any amount not met by the above three methods is covered by the beer fund of a pitifully poor graduate student.

Anyone interested in making sure this site stays afloat regardless of the ever increasing cost of beer is asked to consider donating either through a monthly pledge or one lump sum.
