Bosnia and Herzegovina

Bosnia and Herzegovina - what a silly name for a country. Couldn't they have used some archaic bit of common language to make it into one word? Like Bosniaetherze... never mind, just look at smart countries with simple, clear names, like "The United States of (middle north) America", the "United Kingdom (please don't confuse it with Great Britain - or England!) but not most of Ireland".

Bosnia remains the case study for the evils of unchecked nationalism in the "developed world", after several years of atrocities and attempted genocide. World War I was triggered there, as well, again because of nationalism.
