We should all read Where am I in Brainstorms by Dan Dennett for an interesting exploration of the possibility that we may not always be who, where, and what we think we are. I find TK's blocks philosophically interesting for the appearance of wholly unrelated socks piloted by different people variously and inconsistently listed as the same person depending on the circumstances. Is it deceit, sloth, or some magical augery only TK possesses? If the latter, perhaps we're merely brains in vats switched from simulation to simulation such that each of us might, for some brief moment, inhabit the the "person" of JessicaT. Or is it rather more like Being John Malkovich where people who "get it" can take turns piloting an internet persona? Who knows. All that's clearly emerging so far is that TK may have a special and powerful insight. Ah, I lurve the smell of rotten eggs in the afternoon. Lol - let's just say I've already planned my route around Akihabara to take in as many maid cafes as possible. I hope you learned something. There are too many rap genres and performers to lump it all together. I personally really despise West Coast gangsta rap. The content aside, I don't admire the repetitive samples and boring beats. I much prefer, and I think you'll find Ace does too if you look at the rap tracks we trade on our talk pages, the more "intellectual rap" from both coasts. There are important collectives of artists in Oakland, LA, and New York who incestuously work together. So if you follow up on, say, A Tribe Called Quest, on Wikipedia, you'll find a ton of people associated with the Native Tongues collective making vaguely similarly inspired music. Lately I've been really interested in going back to what I can only call super-nerdy stuff from the earlier part of this decade. Stuff from Del the Funkee Homosapian always pleases. He works with a stack of people from Oakland under the Hieroglyphics and other names. Geeky stuff from guys like Kool Keith always does it for me too. Hope you enjoy. 01:16, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

I was gonna ask $\pi$ as he was involved with this user the other day, but as you're online now and a crat...

[user] inserted a funny but obscene comment onto WIGO CP talk. Someone (probably this user but using a different IP) wrote it all over Toast's talkpage three nights ago which is what sparked off that big debate about TOR IP editing. Anyhoo, basically what I'm asking is do you think this guy should be vandal binned or not, as he said it on community property rather than to a specific user.
