Your blog[edit]

I would greatly appreciate it if you would add a comment ther about how CP-esque Proxima has become, given that she's added a link to the blog on LP's CP article. Phantom Hoover 09:06, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Forget that. Phantom Hoover 09:27, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Boston Globe[edit]

Have you thought of emailing the Boston Globe staff and asking if they had further info on those who also stood for president? Perhaps even mention the ridiculous anti-Obama stance taken by the son of conservative activist Phyllis Schlafly because he was overshadowed by Obama at HLR? If they bite then those guys can dig up a lot more than you ever could on your own. Genghis Khant 20:29, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

As always, a great idea. Shall do so. -- PsyWhut? 11:39, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Taste in Music[edit]

However much we may disagree on that score, the rest of your blog is magnificent :) SuspectedReplicant 18:39, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

Lol! Thank you - appreciate it. Hopefully I can redeem myself over time with some of my more eclectic musical choices. Rock fans could be disappointed, however. -- PsyWhut? 16:50, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

Oi, Rational Gremlin![edit]

Your inbox has had it's cherry busted with an email from yours truly.

Also, where did Andy link to your blog? Haz linky pleez, I cannae find... I just found it, well done mate, major accomplishment! Now I need some Conservapedian recognition of my Schlafly Doo stories... SJ Debaser 17:33, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

Ah... did the earth move for you too, sweetheart. Off to check mail now. here's the linky [1]img PS Very rude to EC my post cherry-popping bliss *grin* --Psy - C20H25N3OYou know you want to 17:40, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

The wiki all about RationalWiki[edit]

I can't believe there was no article on you there yet (there is now). SJ Debaser 16:19, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

Argh! There goes my low profile. Now it's fame! Fortune! Smuggling groupies in through the backdoor... --Psy - C20H25N3OYou know you want to 17:18, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

Wasting Time on Youtube[edit]

Thanks to your promotion of my Time video it's got twice as many views as any of my others - over 40 views! Massive. Thanks a lot, homedawwwwwg! SJ Debaser 11:36, 10 September 2009 (UTC)

My pleasure! Anything to help out a fellow godless baby-eating librull :) --Psy - C20H25N3OYou know you want to 17:06, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
Do we have any baby recipes? Redchuck.gif ГенгисOur ignorance is God; what we know is science. 17:20, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
Only ones that involve black candles and singing Kumbaya backwards. However, Gerber Baby Food might know something we don't. sometimes I hate Snopes when they destroy a long-cherished thought. --Psy - C20H25N3OYou know you want to 17:28, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
That'd be a great article wouldn't it? It'd be called "Fun:Baby eating", it would detail the ins and outs of abortion culminating in the eating of the foetus. SJ Debaser 22:54, 11 September 2009 (UTC)
Well it could start a trend - teh innertubes seem strangely devoid of baby recipes. Although I did find the Sears Baby-Cooking Grill. --Psy - C20H25N3OYou know you want to 16:29, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Liberal behavior on Conservapedia‎[edit]

Nice article. I never realised Ed was such an aficionado of interspecies erotica. Have a scone. --Concernedresident 21:40, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

Merci! Oi! Where's the cream and jam? That was certainly one of "Uncle" Ed's creepier moments - especially when you consider he also wrote this. This is not a man I would want near my kids. Oh, and many thanks for helping to expand - it's a lot easier to start one of those than it is to finish it! --Psy - C20H25N3OYou know you want to 21:45, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
No worries. Working on the jam and cream, but most of the budget was blown on the raisins. Yup, his interests are pretty fruity.--Concernedresident 22:08, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

Dirty Saffa[edit]

Are you are dirty Saffa? I have spent loads of time there myself. Its lekker! Ace McWickedModel 500 22:16, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

Well ex-pat Welshman (I was deported because I can't sing or play rugby), been here for 30 years, so I guess I am a yapie. It is a very lekker place though. --Psy - C20H25N3OYou know you want to 05:50, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
I am marrying into a south african family hence I spent loads of time in S.A. My fiancee used to live in the Parkview/Greenside area. Very nice I thought much better than Hillbrow anyways. And indeed they have some kickass storms. Ace McWickedCurrently Lurking..... 07:27, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
That's round the corner from me! Drinks next time you're in town! Best part is all the trees - city in a forest, as they say. And yes, Hillbrow these days is a bit of a no-go zone (District 9 anybody?) although it used to be a kick-ass clubland place to hang out. --Psy - C20H25N3OYou know you want to 11:04, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
District 9 - great flick, Yeah last time I was there we had many drinking benders at the bowling club near Zoo Lake. Loved it. Ace McWickedCurrently Lurking..... 20:24, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Lol - I haven't been back to the bowling club since I once threw up on their green :) ah, those were the days. --Psy - C20H25N3OYou know you want to 20:30, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Last time I was there was about 2 years ago I think. During the Rugby World Cup. Watched SA play Argentina I think. Was damn exciting. People I know over there are kinda regulars. Funny if we knew the some of the same people......Ace McWickedCurrently Lurking..... 20:34, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
That would be a scarily small world - but at least better then the German guy I met, who upon hearing I was from SA asked if I knew "Bidon from Lagos." --Psy - C20H25N3OYou know you want to 20:41, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

sig[edit]

I finally looked up that molecule in your sig. The doors of perception are opened... Totnesmartin 10:20, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

lol :) Yeah, me being a bit naughty, I guess. I was thinking of doing one of those fancy random sig thingies that would cycle through various molecules... until I realised I had no idea how to do one of those... --Psy - C20H25N3OYou know you want to 10:28, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
With that molecule you can cycle through all sorts of things! Totnesmartin 10:40, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
Martin FTW! Indeed - and it is all thanks to the Good Doctor's experience while cycling home. Plus he did live to be 100 - so it must be good for you! --Psy - C20H25N3OYou know you want to 10:51, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

Are you one of those people...[edit]

...behind the fact that all articles on TV Tropes have an Anime section about twice as long as any of the others? Educated time Phantom Hoover! 17:36, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

I can in all honestly say I have never posted a single thing on TV tropes. I try and keep my little fetish strictly amongst friends :) --PsygremlinTal! 17:39, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Are you one of those people?[edit]

You know, one of those human beings?

Also, your blog deserves a place here, but in all honesty I haven't read it for a while so could you just point me to a place in it where you've criticised the man for attempting to re-write the Bible so I can add it happily and try and get some fuckin' sleep? SJ Debaser 03:53, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Well, there are ex-gf's who might say otherwise about the human bit. I'm not sure if we should be pimping our own blogs on here, but here's the three posts I have written: [2] [3] and [4]. --PsygremlinSnakk! 11:01, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
That's what I thought, but I'm such a bloody human being I thought I'd promote a fellow human being without them asking so it avoided looking like they be pimpin' themselves. Anyway, your blog is critical of the CBP so it belongs there. SJ Debaser 13:56, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
lol - thanks. The Czech is in the male. --PsygremlinZungumza! 14:09, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
It's ok to pimp your blog on wigo blogs, I think we have a "self promotion" template which is because we think it's ok and fine and we want to know what you're up to and stuff. ħumanUser talk:Human 01:23, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

Oh Calcutta[edit]

They didn't run round in the nuddy - back then you could only have naked people on stage if they kept still. Totnesmartin 18:33, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

Ah yes, as in the wonderful Mrs Thingymebob Presents. So what musical is my pervy self thinking of then? --PsygremlinSnakk! 18:40, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
I don't know, there was a lot of nudity around in the seventies (when I was too young to see it) before Mary Whitehouse stuck her oar in. Totnesmartin 18:59, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
combining "stuck her oar in" with nudity is creating all sorts of odd mental images. maybe I'm thinking of Hair... but it was also way before my time. Besides, I'm opposed to full frontal nudity... unless there's something in it for me. --PsygremlinKhuluma! 19:13, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

you just feel that way?[edit]

Trust me, it aint just a feeling, no one loves you. AceMcWicked 09:58, 29 November 2009 (UTC)

Re:Kaorin[edit]

I'd never seen that before. I love you. ~ Kupochama[1][2] 23:20, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

No prob. It's from an Azumanga 10th anniversary 3 chapter editon Azuma put out. If you'd like, I'll put them up somewhere for you to copy? --PsygremlinПоговорите! 10:20, 10 January 2010 (UTC) Linky in case anybody else wants them.
Thanks, but it's fine, I looked it up and grabbed them earlier. Good stuff. ~ Kupochama[1][2] 11:27, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
Schweet. btw if you like Azumanga, I can recommend his "new" series, Yotsubato - very, very funny. --PsygremlinSprich! 12:16, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
Agreed...been reading that since it was localized (then dropped, then picked up again). I should probably give in and read the last volume-or-so elsewhere, though.
Know if any other Azuma work exists, or of similar stuff? All I can think of is Hidamari Sketch...but it's kinda like Azumanga with blushing instead of punch lines. ~ Kupochama[1][2] 12:55, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
Sadly Azumanga is pretty much in a league of its own. I also love Hidamari Sketch to bits. Other notable 4koma I can think off are Sketchbook (which is quirky funny), Minami-ke (oh wait, that's not a 4koma), K-On (which is all kinds of wonderful... recommend the anime too), Doujin Work, Mangaka-san to Assistant-san... and I've gone blank. AFAIK Azumanga and Yotsuba are his only projects to date. --PsygremlinSiarad! 13:04, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
Forgot about Sketchbook...I sort of lost focus the first time I tried it. Minami-ke was great. I'm told the anime is too. K-On seems popular, but haven't tried it yet. Doujin, check. Mangaka...never heard of, so I'll look that up, yay. Should keep me in comics until Karajou releases another "weekly" gem.
As kind of a tangent, I just remembered this place, which has a lot of doujin comics for Type-Moon series, Higurashi, etc. The Tsukihime 4koma stuff is pretty funny, if you're into it. ~ Kupochama[1][2] 18:05, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
@Kupochama - Lucky Star and Haruhi-chan are similar. -- =w= 12:10, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
Oh yes, GakuGaku - grabbed most of the Higurashi (good anime, great manga. Mion FTW) stuff from their site. Other good scanlation sites: mangatraders. Kotonoha - prob my fave group, they do really good stuff. Rabbit reich. Houkagou - home of K-on. Musashi - home of Sketchbook and the odd Nichijou. Bakayarou - home of minami-ke. Happy hunting! Minami-ke & K-on & Sketchbook anime are all great - Sketchbook prob better than the manga IMHO. --Psygremlin. I should also throw Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei into the mix - very funny, and very wrong in parts too. Tala! 17:20, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
@Mei: I keep forgetting to try those in some form...oh well, sooner or later. Though I compulsively reject things that are popular and/or memes.
@Psy: If the manga's worthwhile, I guess I should check out Higurashi. I've been waiting for the games' translations to look complete, but they're pretty confusing. Musashi and Bakayarou are pretty familiar, they do good work (and a lot of it). Zetsubou comes highly recommended from my anime-based friend...the manga was fun, albeit a bit repetitive when read in a single sitting.
Currently actually reading: Sketchbook. It's pretty good now that I'm not just skimming. Oh, and the Karin manga is coming along well, although it's a genre away from this stuff. ~ Kupochama[1][2] 03:37, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

{ud}Two of the better Higu manga are the side-stories Oni Sarashi Hen and Yoigoshi Hen. Nothing to do with the main anime/game storyline, but very, very good. I'm not sure what else you like style-wise, but here's a couple of my faves worth (IMNSHO) looking at, if you haven't come across them yet: Bokurano (a & m), Gunslinger Girl (a & m), Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou (m), Battle Royale (m & f), anything by Inio Asano (Goodnight Punpun, What a wonderful world, City of Light, Nijigahara Holograph - his stores and artwork are out of this world), Owari to Hajimari no Miles (m), Oldboy (m & f), Bradherley's Coach (m), anything by Toume Kei, Town of Evening Calm, Country of Cherry Blossoms (m). a= anime, m=manga, f=film. Sketchbook is good fun, even though it does seem to suffer from untranslatable puns. Track the anime down too. --Psygremlin말하십시오 17:20, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

Avatar[edit]

I saw Avatar in 3D last week with my bros. Come back so we can have a good ole natter about it - it's pretty awesome and the graphics are stunning. SJ Debaser 14:27, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

Actually this was 2nd time I've seen it, altho this time was purely for the awesome graphics... I just wish the makers of 3D glasses would take into account those who already wear glasses. Fave scenes (especially given the *ahem* state we were in) were the sparkly forest bits... very very pretty. --PsygremlinZungumza! 17:08, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
