In all fairness, this site looked like shit before you came. It now looks pretty and shiny, and works cleaner, smoother, and nicer than just about any professional website I have seen. I love the templates, enjoy the little quirks, and are a fan of the limitless little edit gadgets that were your brainchild. This is probably one of the most intuitive and well-designed websites out there, and all because of you. Ignoring Nx' "reason", I think we should start getting used to a whole lot less "user rights" being handed out like candy here as we grow. For instance, I am tempted to de-crat myself, since I never use the buttons it gives me. There are plenty of others. Heck, I don't even know if use sysop rights here. Yeah, so I suppose it's not a high priority. I was just thinking that, as the community grows, it's not the most appropriate system to use. Most of RW's governance (if you can call it that) was appropriate a year or so ago, but now, it may need to switch to something more conventional. I want to lock my talkpage archives to the sysop level (I can e-mail you my reason, I won't discuss it here), but, if I do, it will lock Pibot out of my archive. Therefore, on the page capture menu, could you making locking it to the sysop level locking it to the sysop and bot level, or can bots also edit pages locked at the sysop level? They can't, but I can give bots the right to edit protected pages. Alternatively we can just give Pibot its sysopship back if it promises not to abuse it and go on a blocking spree again. -- Nx / talk 06:50, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

I think giving Pibot sysopship would be better than allowing all bots to edit protected pages, and I don't want to create a new usergroup just for editing protected pages. It runs once every day (around 4 am UTC I think), then it archives any threads that are older than x. In your case, any threads that are older than 1 hour. -- Nx / talk 18:23, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
