[edit] Family Crisis

See you when you get back mate, I hope it's not too terrible. Peace out, mate. SuperJosh talks with no substantial contributions 20:02, 16 January 2010 (UTC)

Best of luck with your troubles. Τerоиіαn wanna fight about it? 20:09, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
Hey, I'm here for you, too. See ya when you return, and if you need anything, you know where to find me. Lord of the Goons The official spikey-haired skeptical punk 22:26, 16 January 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, guys. My sister and her husband were staying at a cabin near Altoona, PA for the weekend. My brother in law was having trouble waking her up this morning, and she was totally out of it, speaking gibberish and being generally confused. She had been complaining about a headache for some time now, but failed to go to the doctors to get it checked out (she works AT a doctor's office). Our first inclination was a stroke or an aneurysm. She was rushed to Altoona Hospital, who then sent her by medical helicopter to a local Pittsburgh hospital. She is getting better progressively, and they have ruled out stroke and tumor via the battery of tests she underwent. I'm glad she recognized me when I saw her in the ER, because apparently she couldn't recognize her own husband at first. So perhaps this crisis isn't as bad as it could have been. I should also note that my sister is in her late 20's, where something like this doesn't seem likely to happen. Again, thanks for your concern. I probably will be in and out over the next few days while dealing with this. Aboriginal Noise Punkrock 03:38, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

I missed this one. My thoughts are with you. ħumanUser talk:Human 03:59, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
wishs for a speedy and complete recovery. Hamster (talk) 04:12, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
I hope she recovers well. Take care. Corry (talk) 04:16, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
Sounds a bit like hypoglycemia. I had a diabetic cow-orker once, who insisted on going on diets, and every week or two she'd have an episode. Some of the more extreme ones sound a lot like what you described. Although I doubt that's what it actually was, since the medics would pick up on that pretty quick. --Kels (talk) 04:23, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
Hypoglycemia, you nailed it! Apparently her blood sugar was around 30, so that seems to be the case. She was released from the hospital today, but still has to visit the neurosurgeon next week to make sure they didn't miss anything. she still has headaches bordering on migraine level, so they just want to check it out. Kels, you will be receiving your MD degree in the mail, as well as the standard fee of three internets. Aboriginal Noise Punkrock 21:47, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

Glad to hear that she is doing better. Remember, I'm rooting for you, we're all in this together. Cheers, man! Lord of the Goons The official spikey-haired skeptical punk 02:13, 18 January 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, man. We're not out of the woods yet. As it stands now, she still needs to be watched 24/7 until they figure out exactly what's up, but as I said, she works at a doctor's office, and the doctor was at her bedside the whole time she was in the ER. She is in good hands. Aboriginal Noise Punkrock 02:17, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
That's good that she has people around her to care for her just in case. Man, what a fucked up week to be a sister! AnarchoGoon Swatting Assflys is how I earn my living 02:22, 18 January 2010 (UTC)

Go Gang Green! and bring on the Colts, we've beaten them once this season, let's see if we can do it again. After all those heartaches, all those tears... Bob Soles (talk) 13:39, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
That was a damn good game yesterday. This year has felt like the Giants and Jets switched places. Τerоиіαn you're clueless 13:42, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
"...the Jets haven't won consecutive playoff games since Casey Hampton could hide in a clothes hamper without breaking it." Line of the year. I am pulling for the Jets myself, but only because my Steelers aren't in, the Colts have had their glory, and Darrelle Revis is a fellow Pitt alum. [edit] Budweiser

9PM last Friday

Last Friday was pretty awesome. And as I'm drinking this shizzle tonight and it works as a laxative, I'd watch your page, mate... SuperJosh links to his gay porn collection talkpage 14:51, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

Dude that is gross. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 14:58, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
When I ask my nieces - "What does Budweiser do?" They respond - "Makes you get the shits!" --Edgerunner76Your views are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter 15:03, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
Heh, heh. It was on offer in the shop and I'm poor. What was I supposed to do? SuperJosh celebrates over 2500 contributions to a liberal vandal site 15:05, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
Wes, I, and our other (former) roommate used to constantly drink something called Evil Eye Honey Brown because it was cheap. We paid for it in the long run. --Edgerunner76Your views are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter 15:09, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
Ugh, Honey Brown. We used to buy that shit 3 cases at a time, at about $10 US each. Many a foul morning ensued. Aboriginal Noise Punkrock 16:38, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
Budweiser ain't bad, but clean your fucking fridge. Jesus Christ. Natural Light is still my favorite cheap beer. $14 for 30. Can't beat it.. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 15:13, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
Cut me some slack, G, I've had a busy week, when I haven't been studying I've been busy on the internet, waiting for exciting stuff to happen on internet wikis. I tend to drink Carlsberg, but it wasn't on offer in teh shop. SuperJosh kills the poor 15:17, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
Ugh...Carlsberg reminds me of being stuck in Copenhagen. Quaffing that crap down was all I could do to stay sane. — Sincerely, Neveruse / Talk / Block 15:26, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
Josh, you and a few mates in your flat should chip in for equipment and start homebrewing. 30p a pint can't be beaten. CrundyThere is no spoon 15:54, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
That would be entertaining actually. I may try it in September when we move into a better house. SuperJosh likes food 16:24, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
Before marrying my current minder, I knew a German chemist who home-brewed a variety of very nice beers and ales, with commentary on the finish of each-- a hint of cloves I remember as being something to aim for. When my housemates and I brewed beer lo these many years ago, it was because the cost was one US dime per quart. The sound of explosions in the basement followed by crown caps hitting the ceiling underfoot was an unadvertised extra. Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 16:33, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
Although my latest lager is certainly the best I've made so far, I'm now looking at a better turnaround, so I'm going to buy a pressure barrel instead of using my bottles and use the yeast that comes with the kits (ale yeast) so I can have 40 pints ready in less than a month. CrundyAt least I have chicken 18:46, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

What we need now is the Pißwasser commercial from the latest edition of Grand Theft Auto. Cue video in 5....4....3.... Oh, wait, I'd better wait until I get home. Cue video in 6000.....5999.....5998..... Aboriginal Noise Punkrock 19:19, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

I still haven't played GTAIV. I need to get a PS3 or Xbox 360 or some other gaming device to play it on. SuperJosh may be an idiot, but if there's one thing he's not, it's an idiot 15:01, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, there is quite a bit of hilarity in the commercials shown in your safehouse. Aboriginal Noise Punkrock 15:08, 23 January 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Yuengling Porter

I could tell you were in PA from your comment on Ace's page. Yuengling Porter = good cold weather beer, being dark and a nice balance of cost to quality~ — Unsigned, by: Sterile / talk / contribs

This is true. I was in the mood for a dark brew, and at $20/case, it is the cheapest dark beer at the beer store. As for the cold weather beer, it is around 50 degrees today, so I should save it for later in the week when it is in the 20's perhaps? Aboriginal Noise Punkrock 01:48, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
Naw, Sunday and Monday deserve one, too! Sterilesyringe 01:57, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
Well, since I already housed 10 of them Friday night, I should stretch my beer-purchasing dollar out through the week. I do have the Johnnie Walker to fall back on, though. Aboriginal Noise Punkrock 01:59, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
Ah, more bang for the buck! (I wonder what the actual alcohol vol per $ is) Sterilesyringe 02:10, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
Considering the scotch was free, I'd go with that. Aboriginal Noise Punkrock 02:16, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
Bonus. Sterilesyringe 02:34, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Vote

I'd vote for you in that Loya thingy, but apparently I'm a fic-tion-al cha-rac-ter. The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that corporations are people, so why can't I, a humble fic-tion-al cha-rac-ter, vote on something stupid like this? And, how can an Ace be one and eleven? What kind of god would allow that? Maybe I should ask that Ace guy? -- Deadpool Everybody, protect me!

Because I forget my password, the last time I was on this site was December of 2007, over two years ago. I had long forgotten about conservapedia but recently found out it was still around. I didn't think to use a proxy server two years ago when they blocked me for good but once I did, I was back with a vengeance (sp). I started out again as a parodist but once discovered I reverted back to my old ways.

Gotcha. Just thought it weird to use an IP for editing when they have Checkuser next door... Aboriginal Noise Punkrock 16:59, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
