Don't know if you noticed this -- Nx / talk 11:57, 29 May 2010 (UTC)

When was that made? That totally surpasses the brown clogo as my favourite logo. Thank you so much. - π 11:58, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
That rules. But where are PsyGremlin's (I probably got that wrong) ribbons? ħumanUser talk:Human 12:00, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
That would be on RationalWikiWikiWikisWiki's what is going on at RationalWikiWikiWiki. Is that website still running? - π 12:01, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
I thought it was at RationalWikiWikiWikiWikiWikiWiki's page on WIGO RationalWikiWikiWikiWikiWiki, but, yeah, you may be right. Twas the best logo ever. ħumanUser talk:Human 12:04, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
I went over to RationalWikiWikiWikisWiki only to find the User:Lumenos had visited the site to announce the creation of RationalMetaWiki. I also noticed from the recent changes menu that is formally one man wiki has been receiving a visit from Phantom Hoover. Any way Lumenous has been working on a new article RationalWiki mafia on WikiIndex and Lumenos. - π 12:12, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
That's hilarious, except I so don't miss that person from my innertubes. ħumanUser talk:Human 12:18, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
He was annoying annoying, unlike CUR who was funny annoying. - π 12:20, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the incredibly weird welcome over there. It's weird to go to a wiki one hasn't visited in a long time and find an orange box. Best of luck with the next three days. ħumanUser talk:Human 11:59, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Yeah I am not too sure what is going on there with that welcome template. Thanks, it is going to be hectic, but all worth while in the end. - π 12:06, 2 June 2010 (UTC)

Um hi there. I'm not sure if it impolite to "interrupt" a "conversation", having occurred a while ago. Readers of this section may find this interesting: I summarized The WikiIndex Incident in three lines. ~ That moron who'se always re-editting their comments (talk) 18:46, 26 June 2010 (UTC)

Conservative parable[edit]

Hey, I made the edit saying that the conservative parable was neither conservative nor a parable. I based that off of wikipedia's description of a parable. I don't know if it's a double negative or what, but if I was wrong, then by all means leave the comment out. Chris3145 (talk) 02:03, 27 June 2010 (UTC)

I changed it to either/or, now it makes sense. Oops, maybe that should be neither/or... ħumanUser talk:Human 02:52, 27 June 2010 (UTC)
Actually, Chris, you were correct. I fixed. It's not a double negative, and it's neither stupid, nor wrong... ħumanUser talk:Human 02:54, 27 June 2010 (UTC)
I see where the confusion happened. I said "Note that..." and it was read as "Not that..."Chris3145 (talk) 22:14, 27 June 2010 (UTC)

Hey, yo, Pi, what the hell is this edit all about, dude?[edit]

This one here. Why you copypasta something I said somewhere/somewhen else into a different comment? P-Foster (talk) 06:41, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

I have no idea how that happened. - π 06:45, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
It was probably the middle-click-bound-to-copy-and-paste thing. Stupid educated Hoover! 10:12, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
Hmm, I have no idea what you are talking about, I just wanted to use my new edit tab. - π 10:15, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
If you're on Linux, middle-click is probably used for copying and pasting. Stupid educated Hoover! 10:36, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I was Linux at the time. - π 12:01, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
Okay, cool, I figured it was a fuck-up. Can you take it back, please--don't want my prose to be misquoted and misconstrued...thanks P-Foster (talk) 06:57, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
I've removed it. WėąṣėḷőįďWeaselly.jpgMethinks it is a Weasel 06:58, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
Cheers, mate. P-Foster (talk) 07:01, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
Maybe I should turn it into a debate map? - π 07:02, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
Yes, please refactor all comments in a way that is lumenoclear! ħumanUser talk:Human 09:18, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
I have been labeled a rouge lumenati now. - π 12:01, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
I regret to inform you, Sir, you have been demoted. Not to worry; in good time we will be getting you your very own wiki. =) ~ Lumenos (talk) 17:30, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

Came across this very interesting pie chart[edit]

http://img705.imageshack.us/i/proprofsreport.jpg/ — Unsigned, by: 86.40.217.29 / talk / contribs

Yeah I was a Tetronian. Why was I not an option? - π 23:15, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
You're too nice to be an option. I reserve my scorn for truly horrible members of this site. With the honourable exception of Human. 86.40.102.99 (talk) 14:32, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
Thanks, that is nice of you to say, I think? - π 22:22, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
You know what I find hilarious? The vast majority of users disagree with reverting my edits or with increasing the amount of rules. What is really amazing is that the likes of you will allow the likes of Gerard to single handedly ruin this site. 86.40.196.30 (talk) 18:19, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
It is a duality problem, on the one hand you are free to edit, on the other hand so is David. - π 00:58, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
I am not 'free' to do anything, I am persecuted because of my beliefs. David reverts and bans me at every opportunity. According to the answers set out in the quiz, a clear majority disagree with his reverting, banning and his quest for more rules. public opinion is on my side. It is decidedly against the likes of Gerard and his totalitarian ideology. 86.40.208.209 (talk) 14:50, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
Whilst it is true that most people favour less rules, most people also seem to work along a set of rules that exists only in their head. The only thing that came out of the community standards revamp is that admin abuse has been broadened as a tool to beat everyone over the head with, really the opposite of what you would want. It should be a place were the average editor can have their grievances with an admin heard, without the fear of the admin blocking or stripping them, but it is now open to abuse by allowing an admin an avenue to keep abusing an editor after they have stripped of their sysopship. This has not happened yet, but the door is now open. I must say though I did like people rallying to the defense of Lumnous, despite how strange he it.
You must admit though, you do deliberately rub David the wrong way. - π 15:04, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
Whether I rub David the wrong way or not is irrelevant. And I led the charge in defense of Lumenos (The BON was me using a TOR server) Which again reinforced my point that public opinion is on my side, and that David and Crundy et all are the side of the authoritarian minority. This begs the question, why do people like you, who in principle are diametrically opposed to the rule creep as personified by Gerard, allow him to push this site into the cesspit? Why do you allow him to destroy every sacred cow this site has? 86.40.208.209 (talk) 16:10, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
Pedantry: the phrase is "raises the question". Begs the question is a logical fallacy. - π 09:36, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
Not that I've had too much time to like... care, lately, but it seems to me the only thing DG is really being "totalitarian" about is kicking your ass out all the time... So.. yeah. "How dare you repress me by not allowing me to break shit!" Why don't you go to ED? They like assholes there.. Quaru (talk) 16:15, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
You clearly don't know what the fuck you're talking about. You're one of the duller blowins. Go sit in a corner somewhere and grow yourself a personality, dullard. 86.40.111.3 (talk) 16:57, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
Yup. I'm a dullard. And you're kicked. You may be the most dull, redundant, boring trolls I've ever seen. Maybe when you are able to comprehend what you did wrong, you'll be allowed to come back. I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. It'll be awesome. Quaru (talk) 17:08, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
Oh just shut up. You're even more boring than that earnest twat Tetronian. Back in the day, people wouldn't have to 'comprehend what they did wrong', because this site was a haven for ideas and freedom. You wouldn't understand, obviously. 86.40.111.3 (talk) 17:21, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
Well, I was going to give up on you. I really don't care. I'm kinda' crazy busy in my awesome life, but happen to have a lot of down time today. I'm not really in the mood to feed trolls today. But I wonder if you really don't get how much of an asshole you are. ideas and freedom is awesome. deleting pages is not. It's being an asshole. You don't seem to get that. Have fun being a douchy troll. I wish I was allowed to put in more snark in articles, any time I try to do so, I get reverted. But I don't be an asshole because of it. Keep telling me I don't get it though.. That's cool. But you're the guy who deleted a bunch of articles, not me. Maybe you did more douchy moves, I don't care. you deleting articles is enough for me to be all for you being eternally blocked, whatever my opinion means. Quaru (talk) 17:37, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
If the critics of Gerard, Lumenos, Crundy, et al, could put their allegations in one handy location, this would help we the swing voters, to analyze it. Something like this template:MC. Maybe they let someone make a template:David Gerard? Maybe there should be a project page for each "troll" or "abusive" admin, for better organization of the evidence against/for them? Clearly much energy is spent debating them and whatnot. If can't be done at RW how about RWW or (if can't be done there) how about Lumeniki? ~ Lumenaid - (Wong's chattery) 02:11, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
That idea surpasses your usual stupid ideas in terms of stupidity. - π 09:36, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
Noone ever tells me why, damnit! That is, when they are not asking vague questions I can't answer. ~ Lumenaid - (Wong's chattery) 11:05, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
Pi --> Slap.gif <-- Lumenos. - π 11:23, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
HAHA I have fly? ... That funny, you can stop now. HAHA how many flies I have?... Okay no more fly now. Aaa ha, no more fly. ~ Lumenaid - (Wong's chattery) 22:53, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
You are a typical earnest twat. You weren't there when I deleted the articles. When I did it, it was in the context of a massive blocking war and I knew I was going to lose my sysop powers at any time. It was a last hurrah. It was a laugh. I never expected the dullards to get together in order to use it as an excuse to persecute me. Really, you are a victim of their deceitful propaganda. I never abused my sysop powers before that - that was the irony... Honestly, you are such an idiot. Just twaddle off now to whatever hole you came from. 66.90.73.223 (talk) 17:47, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

17:58, 10 July 2010 (UTC) SusanG Toast

So... "When I raped that girl, I already knew I was going to jail, therefore I'm innocent?" Yeah. I'm a victim of their terrible propaganda. It seems to me you're a victim of your own propaganda.. But you're right, I wasn't here. Sorry I didn't have the foreknowledge to join the site before you got kicked. Damn me and my n00bness. Quaru (talk) 19:12, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
So... You're a dull idiot and a sexual deviant? You play fast and loose with the word 'rape', my boy. For Christs sake. It was a fucking joke. It wasn't malicious. You're so hysterical you deserve to be mocked. Fucking cockface. Go fuck off. Seriously. 86.40.197.228 (talk) 20:27, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
Oh goodie. The narrow minded bigot has a chance to vent her hysterical spleen. 86.40.111.3 (talk) 19:08, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

Hi :)[edit]

We should hang a round sometime! R squared (talk) 03:04, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

Hi, nice to meet you. Welcome to RationalWiki the sometimes Republican vector field of the internet. - π 11:43, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

Time for the men in white coats....[edit]

The arrogance! The man truly thinks no one has ever presented any facts or evidence! AceX-102 09:28, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

If I had the time I would hunt through the data on genetic markers and give him some, but I suspect he would just rationalise it away the way he always does. It is his almost worship of CMI that bothers me the most, he thinks because it has a few links at the bottom every word they write is the truth and they mostly link to news paper articles any way. - π 09:34, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

Bringing David Gerard to account for his crimes?[edit]

Will David Gerard ever be held accountable for his crimes against this website? 86.40.204.212 (talk) 16:31, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

Of course not, David Gerard is an extremely valuable member of this site, and anyone who criticizes him is a troll, obviously. 89.132.239.149 (talk) 16:34, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
And now his talk page is protected. Yet the silent majority just allow this to happen and do nothing about it. Shameful. 86.40.111.69 (talk) 17:38, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
Here is an idea, STOP EDITING HIS FUCKING PAGE. I don't really care for him, I don't post on his talk page. Harassing him just adds weight to his trolling claims. If your edits consisted of more than swearing at people on their talkpages I could see your point. If you were contributing I would be upset at this gross breach of the "rules", but at the moment I find you a tolerable nuisance. BTW your mum took my dick out of her mouth and said hi. - π 00:02, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
I know you don't mean that PIE. You have the power to stop this. It is in your hands to realise the destiny foretold by the ancients. You can become the goddess, Liberty. 86.40.97.124 (talk) 00:06, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
Part of freedom is the responsibility that comes with how you exercise it. You and everyone is entitled to post here, and I say we tolerate agitators far more than most communities, but if you are going to abuse that trust people are going to dislike you. When we founded we chose to avoid the power structure at Conservapedia in the belief that anyone could be a good and productive editor, you could be a good and productive editor but instead to harass people, cry persecution, and when you finally get bored you go "lol I troll you". - π 00:22, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
PIE, I am choosing to ignore your hurtful comments. Did you not see my eloquent comment above about the possibility of you becoming the goddess, Liberty? 86.40.111.191 (talk) 11:48, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
CONSEQUENCES WILL NEVER BE THE SAME if you do not intervene. You may even be removed as a Champion of Liberty. 86.40.111.191 (talk) 11:49, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
What is your plan exactly? - π 11:56, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
There is no plan here. There is only deed. Through deed we can achieve salvation. 86.40.111.191 (talk) 11:57, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
I don't like where this is going. - π 11:59, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
I'm flattered that you think I am the second incarnation of Jesus Christ. Really, I am. Just remember that I come not to make peace with the world, but to break. Not to love, but to hate. Not to understand, but to destroy. Evil shall never be tolerated. All hail the wise PIE for he is bountiful and delicious. 86.40.111.191 (talk) 12:02, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
I think we need to martyr you. Only through your wikideath can RationalWiki be reborn. You need to get your range-blocked permanently as a sign against the authoritarianism rampant through this place. - π 12:06, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
My martyrdom would only be successful if it led to change on this website. Unfortunately you need me to drag you all from the heels back to the loving embrace of Liberty. Doing so will not be easy and it will require the elimination of Gerard, Nx, Phantom Hoover, RA, Jeeves, Susan, Concerned Resident, EddyP and Lily, to name a few. 86.40.111.191 (talk) 12:09, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
So pretty much the whole site then? - π 12:12, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
Think of it more like an immediate peeling off of sticky tape. It will be painful for a moment, but once the scourge is removed, everyone will be better. 86.40.111.191 (talk) 12:13, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
Unless the open wound gets infected, then you will need antibiotics. - π 12:14, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
I shall be that antibiotic. I will resurrect the Rationalwiki Reform Society. 86.40.111.191 (talk) 12:16, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
That didn't go to well last time, why not try something different? - π 12:20, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
I did say at the time that I would bring it back when the community had matured. Now the community is standing on a precipice. 86.40.111.191 (talk) 13:21, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

tl/sti (about David Gerard)[edit]

I declare the above dialog to be "too long, skimmed through it". Please summarize complaints at http://rationalwikiwiki.org/wiki/David_Gerard . ~ Lunemowse 16:45, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

RationalWikiWiki apparently has a policy against editors editing their own articles (unless they make sock accounts). Secondly, they don't require sources for biographical claims. Some articles seem ridiculously inaccurate, to me. Therefore, I will suggest that we edit http://lumeniki.referata.com/wiki/User:David_Gerard [(backup location)] instead, unless someone knows of a better location. ~ Lumenos 22:27, 26 July 2010 (UTC) Added backup location. ~ Lumenos 00:17, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
Um, yes, of course RWW has a policy against editing your accounts, otherwise anybody could come in and say "OMGZ, <insert name here> IS TEH BEST RWER EVAR!", or, more subtly, control the article to make them look good or as a tool to attack their current wikienemies. Well, the last one is done anyways, but we let that slide. You can still edit, seeing as I only blocked you for 1. Edit warring, and 2. Editing your own article. Besides, it's better to keep everything n one place, like at RWW. --The Emperor Kneel before Zod! 22:33, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
You said "editing your accounts" did you mean "editing an article about you"? ~ Lumenos 23:11, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
I've only been reverted or blocked by (Conficker, Nx,BON, and Theemperor). ~ Lumenos 23:11, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
Apparently at RWW anyone can create a sock account to edit their own article and their "policies" encourage this. Mr. Fancy Pants make joek, "25 July 2010 (diff) (hist) . . ! Concernedresident‎; 21:46 . . (+11) . . Mr. Fancy Pants (Talk | contribs | block) (Me writing stuff about me. I like me)" Why not let editors "admit" they are editing their own articles? ~ Lumenos 23:11, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
I don't think there will be a bias problem with editors editing articles about themselves, at Lumeniki. There are plenty of other editors who can remove bias without "wandalizing" by blindly reverting. ~ Lumenos 23:11, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
Jezuz you are bizarre sometimes. If a sock adds neutral and unbiased stuff, fine. If a sock is writing in a user in an overly positive way, we can put two and two together and block the BON. Plus, taking snarky comments as fact is a bad policy here or at RWW. --The Emperor Kneel before Zod! 23:14, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
I'm being told to fuck off, and I suspect this is Π's talkpage, so I posted a reply to you at http://lumeniki.wiki-site.com/index.php/User:David_Gerard/From_RationalWiki . ~ Lumenos 00:38, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

Lumenos, fuck off. - π 23:19, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

Whad i do? ~ Lumenos 00:17, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
I woke up this morning to a wall of your shit and frankly I don't want to read it. - π 08:49, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
It sounds like you are saying it shouldn't be here. I just noticed a "userbox" up there saying "This talkpage is a troll sanctuary. Please do not feed the wildlife." Is that to say that you are requesting that only you should write to "trolls" on your talkpage? Are the "anonymous" editors in this section "trolls" in your view? ~ Lumenos 14:51, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
Fuck off you annoying little tit. - π 22:40, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

readding edits[edit]

About your question why I was readding some edits. Sorry, I'm a new user. Apparently some of my first edits weren't contributed to my account, but to my IP-address (although I thought to be logged in). I wanted to make it undone, in order to keep my IP-address invisible and to have those changes in my contributions. However, I didn't know the 'undo'-button is rather a 'change'-button keeping the IP-address in the history of fossil record. I discovered this only shortly thereafter.— Unsigned, by: Plasmageek / talk / contribs 11:26, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

Okay[edit]

THX, I'll read those and ask you more questions if I have any.

Ps. do you edit Atheism wiki?

Pps. Can I use my rationalWiki acc to edit other wikis?

User:Mectrixctic 16:36, 1 August 2010 (UTC)

I don't edit Atheism Wiki. RationalWiki is an independent wiki with its own private server no part of a wiki farm, you can't edit any other wiki with an account here. It might be possible to set it up so you can edit RationalWikiWiki with your account. - π 23:18, 1 August 2010 (UTC)

comment.[edit]

couldnt agree more. AceX-102 13:26, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

To use a hyperbole, it seems to me something like allow convicted criminals to buy guns from a store because you can't prevent them getting them through the black market. - π 13:29, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
Well, I am just gonna address this as I usually do - revert block ignore. If someone wants to take me to task then, by all means, do it but fuck this boring shit. AceX-102 13:31, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
(EC)More like just handing them the guns, since you can't stop from buying illegally. And bullets. And telling anyone who complains they're being totalitarian. Then letting the convicts shoot at those who complain. Sorry. Got carried away. And Ace. Won't that get you de-sysopped too? Quarurifle - You can't explain that! 13:32, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
It shouldn't. - π 13:33, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
No it wont. Fuck it. AceX-102 13:34, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
I was trying to be a dick. I figured that's apparently how to get noticed here. I fully support you in this endeavor. Quarurifle - You can't explain that! 13:37, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
PIE, your hurtful comments hurt me. To think I promoted you to the position of the Goddess, Liberty. Following these most recent revelations, I'm afraid I'm going to have to demote you. I've my eye on you. You may rise from the ashes, much like a phoenix, to grasp the torch of liberty anew and thus save the world. 86.40.111.211 (talk) 14:54, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

Gerards continued abuse[edit]

Please see the chicken coop. Your level headed reasoning could be the difference between Gerard failing or succeeding in his mission to destroy this site and its values. 86.40.111.211 (talk) 12:48, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

Are you being persecuted again MC? - π 12:52, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
It's just so hard to troll when no one lets you! It's just not fair!!! Quarurifle - You can't explain that! 12:55, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
No, Gerard is single handedly waging a campaign to destroy this site. I am the only thing holding back the hordes of barbarians (Like that idiot Quaru) from assuming command. I could do with a hand. 86.40.111.211 (talk) 13:02, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

I used to respect you...[edit]

... But then you never apologised for the hurtful comments you made, and continue to make. Why is this PIE? Why? 86.40.201.187 (talk) 11:19, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

The only reason you "respected" me is because I voiced support for you against the people who wanted to stop you trolling. You don't really believe/care/think all this "right to post/liberty" crap, it is just a card you play whenever anyone tries to stop you trolling. You play the "you will be authoritarians like CP" and all the people who imagine that this place somehow has the moral high ground because of our "special creation" were we respect all and all is free to post come running to help you - an self outed troll - against good faith editors. - π 11:28, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
There you go again. Hurting my feelings. I only ever want to do good things for Rationalwiki. I never admitted to being a troll. That was an imposter. Please show some compassion PIE. 86.40.201.187 (talk) 11:37, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
That is simply pathetic. - π 11:38, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
I have never respected you and the funky smell coming from my pants turned out to be 4 day old sweet chilli sauce. AceX-102 11:47, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
PIE; You have clearly been misled by the vast propaganda forces arraigned against me. Please inform yourself more in the future. 86.40.201.187 (talk) 13:11, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

No. Tony Judt. I had just finished reading Postwar, one of the finest history books ever written, only to read in the paper the next day that he had passed on. Then I wrote an article about him. Tony Judt changed my life. Embrace Tony Judt, PIE. MarcusCicero (talk) 23:33, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
Sounds like a cult. Oh well, have fun editing. It is nice to see you getting along with others. I tried to restore Edmund Burke‎, but even though I have a restore button, it did not work. - π 23:41, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

Capturebot[edit]

Has somebody borked it again? --PsyGremlinRunāt! 12:14, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

Don't know, he is not my toy. I do know that he runs on a constant loop and is not a kron job like Pibot, so my guess is Trent needs to start the wheel spinning again. - π 12:51, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

New one for you[edit]

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-11313194 Undoubtedly you've already seen it, but I'll post anyway. Scarlet A.pnggnostic 14:49, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

Thank you. I haven't seen that yet, I'll have to look into it more. - π 22:36, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

Was that you or your bot? -- Nx / talk 07:49, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Not me. I haven't run the bot yet. - π 23:56, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Mmmmm Pie!!![edit]

Been forever since I checked in with you. How are things going, you crazy Aussie? The Goonie 1 What's this button do? Uh oh.... 05:46, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Not too bad. I have been hard at work with uni trying to squeeze 14 weeks of work into 11 so I can afford and enjoy my trip to San Francisco. How are things in Minnesota? - π 05:49, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
Cold, as usual. And they will get colder. Going to San Francisco, eh? Never been, but one of these days I hope to go there. Lord Goonie Hooray! I'm helping! 05:51, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
It should be good. This is only a small excursion into the US, San Fran, Vegas and then hopefully driving out to the Grand Canyon (I might even try to take some of the old Route 66 rather than the interstate). There is so much of the US I want to see, but time and money are always a problem. - π 05:55, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
I know what you mean. Kinda like my excursion to the UK (hopefully) next summer. Punky Your mental puke relief 05:57, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
Sweet, where are you planning on going? - π 06:02, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
Unfortunately, they are terrible at teaching us American's geography, so the only place I know is London, which will be my starting point. From there, who knows? Gooniepunk2010 Oi! Oi! Oi! 06:04, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
You could go the Australian backpacker route of going to the UK for 6 months or whatever the maximum stay time is, getting a low paying job, stay in hostels and wonder around in and old van to no place in particular. That is if you have 6 months to spare. - π 06:08, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
I wish, but I will, unfortunately, have only about 3-4 weeks to spare. The Spikey Punk I'm punking my punk! 06:10, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
If you only have a few weeks then you need to plan your holiday well and have all the money you need when you leave. You found tripadvisor.com yet? - π 06:13, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
Australia can vomit on my fucking oily penis. New Zealand is where its at. Fuck those other bozos and their "Melbourne" this and "Sydney" that. GammaPlayer 06:37, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
I am not from either Sydney or Melbourne. - π 07:04, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

(Unindent) Only found tripadvisor as a result of you, 3.141596.... Gooniepunk2010 Oi! Oi! Oi! 13:33, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

I found this great hotel in Buenos Aires as a result of that site. Small, quite, clean, nice staff, and cheap. - π 23:25, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Welcome back. Long time no see. How's tricks? ΨΣΔξΣΓΩΙÐWeaselly.jpgMethinks it is a Weasel 07:51, 26 February 2014 (UTC)

Good mostly. Married now, I have something that approximates a thesis, and no job. I realised all my wiki-fu is gone and I have no idea what I am doing. - π 07:54, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
Congrats on the marriage & good luck with jobs. Re this, signatures have been messy since the last MediaWiki upgrade. See here. I suggest taking the "subst" bit out of your sig. WeaseloidWeaselly.jpgMethinks it is a Weasel 08:02, 26 February 2014 (UTC)

archiving to /dev/null[edit]

PiBot archives some pages to /dev/null (prominent example: Talk:Kent Hovind).

Could it be that just an underscore is missing in

{{Template:Talkpage/Pibot |algo = old(28d) |archive = Talk:Kent Hovind/Archive%(counter)d }}

and that

{{Template:Talkpage/Pibot |algo = old(28d) |archive = Talk:Kent_Hovind/Archive%(counter)d }}

would work find? --larron (talk) 12:21, 7 March 2014 (UTC)

So, that's not the reason. It is the inline format?

BTW: If you want to see something funny, have a look at Talk:Example/Archive1 and Talk:Example/Archive2! That's about taking instructions literally... --larron (talk) 12:40, 7 March 2014 (UTC)

It was the inline format! I corrected this for all talk-pages (but not for User-talks...) --larron (talk) 08:08, 8 March 2014 (UTC)

WigoBot?[edit]

Can you run it? Or could you mail me the code? --larron (talk) 22:08, 9 March 2014 (UTC)

Tasmanian whiskey is where it is at these days[edit]

What, really? Tasmanian whiskey? Acei9 07:58, 19 June 2014 (UTC)

World's best apparently. Also Cradle Mountain is very good. Not a lot of aged yet as the industry is still young. - π 08:03, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
wow, now there is a surprise. Though a close member of my family is making one of the worlds best gins. Acei9 08:05, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
Now I feel like drinking. - π 08:09, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
I invited you out to a night of drinking last time I was Melbourne. You didn't bite. And if you feel like drinking...just fucking drink. Acei9 08:13, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
You see, I don't live in Melbourne. Same as if I had invited you to go drinking with me in Auckland. - π 08:14, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
I thought you lived in Melbourne. And if you asked me to drink with you in Auckland I'd get on a mutha fucking plane. Acei9 08:20, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
Well I am sorry I didn't now, however I was there only on one Monday night. - π 08:25, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
I'll be moving to Auckland later this year/early next year if that helps. Acei9 08:26, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
Didn't get the job I interviewed for so I won't be, was a nice city. Kind of reminded me of a smaller Sydney, but in a good way in that it had all the things that make Sydney nice and none of the wankers. - π 08:34, 19 June 2014 (UTC)

Wow[edit]

My friend, has it been this long? Acei9 06:36, 19 June 2014 (UTC)

Yes, indeed my friend. It has been 912 days since you last vandalised my user page. - π 06:39, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
912 days?! No shit. Lets fix that. Acei9 06:51, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
This can only end well. - π 06:52, 19 June 2014 (UTC)

WIGObot stop functioning?[edit]

When I go back to look at the WIGO archives, the ones after May 2014 are missing. Is there some specific reason for it? [[User:K61824|]][[User_talk:K61824|]] 14:05, 19 November 2014 (UTC)

Yes, I have to run the bot by hand and I am lazy. I will run again soon. - π 06:54, 23 November 2014 (UTC)
Have you considered turning over responsibility for the bots to David Gerard and Trent? It's not exactly productive to leave control of bots in with someone who's absent for months at a time and admits to being lazy. They should be run by someone with an interest in using them in a timely and efficient manner, otherwise we might as well not have them. Is Pibot down?[edit]

Its last edit was a week ago.--ZooGuard (talk) 17:58, 7 February 2015 (UTC)

Possibly. I don't have server access to check. - π 04:51, 8 February 2015 (UTC)

Are you lurking about by chance?[edit]

I have some legitimate questions about how Pibot is programmed that I need answered. I think those answers could solve the problem of why it isn't archiving the Saloon Bar. Gooniepunk (talk) 01:29, 30 October 2015 (UTC)

Given that you're one in a series of returning Old Guard this summer, I'm inclined to agree. From what I can tell looking through old talkpages, ListenerX would insist Ragnarök is come. RoninMacbeth (talk) 14:51, 19 August 2018 (UTC)
