The bingo template

Do you know how it should work? Since no one else is working on it I figured I would take a crack at it, but I have no idea what to do. Tetronian ^{you're clueless} 21:04, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

Here is what whould happen: By editing template:bingospace you add to the options that can show up on the template:Bingo card itself. The Bingo template chooses 25 random bingo spaces, quite possibly choosing the same one more than once, but the odds of that decrease with more additions..

The <choose> option randomly grabs one available option, there is no way I know of to restrict it from possibly choosing the same option twice. ĵ₳¥ášÇ♠ʘ no fate but what we make 21:12, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

As I did say, as more options become available, the odds of it choosing the same two do decrease. I am going to grab some choice options from the Aassfly generator and place those in. ĴάΛäšςǍ₰ things that make you go "hm" 21:17, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

I could write a perl script (or a BASIC program, for that matter), that would fill in the 24 squares randomly using each choice once. But 1) it wouldn't execute properly even if I 2) was able to write it in the next 6 hours. I suggest using the bingo template, and for any dupe entries, the user gets to choose their own replacement from the list or their own choice? Oh, and isn't the center square supposed to be "FREE"? ħuman 21:55, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
