Karl Rove

Karl "Turdblossom" Rove left the Bush administration in August 2007. Somewhat surprisingly he gave the reason for leaving as, "To spend more time with my family."
As this phrase is political code for, "I don't want to tell you why I left," it has left the door open for some speculation about the real reasons for his departure.
One suggested reason is the possibility of a political scandal over his gay adoptive father's 37 extraordinary genital piercings. Once it was realised there could well develop a cataclysmic 'gay daughter/massively pierced gay father' scandal in the inner circle in the White House, Alberto Gonzalez was asked to leave. (He didn't really have anything to do with it, but no-one really liked Alberto anyway (A Hispanic in the Republican Party?!), so it seemed like a good excuse).
For some crazy reason, Newsweek magazine has apparently decided to give Turdblossom his own column. I guess some people do want to read about a very successful swindler.
He was notably pwnt during a speech on February 11th, 2008 by a young Marla Spivak.
