A Polish joke[edit]

World War II, somewhere in Poland. A young Pole is wandering on the street when an SS halts him: "Achtung! Documents!". "I don't have documents with me" he answers. "Nein?! Then I'll have you shot on the spot!". "I can go and take them". "No, no, rules are clear. No documents? No life!". As the SS is preparing his gun, an angel comes from the skies and tells the SS "Spare him! You don't know who he is! He will be Pope one day!". "Oh, that's interesting, but I have precise orders and, Pope or not, I have to shoot him" answers the SS. "He will save Poland, the world and even Germany from Communism", says the Angel, "save his life!". The SS thinks for a moment and finally answers "Ok, I'll save his life, but at one condition: you'll make me Pope after him". Editor at CPmały książe 13:16, 2 December 2009 (UTC)

Alexander VI[edit]

Another one of the things that got me to create this page was Alexander VI and his role in the Assassin's Creed II video game. Alexander VI is the last "boss"/assassination target in the game. It only just occured to me how truly reviling this man was. As far as I know the game wasn't even criticized by the likes of Bill Donohue and he jumps on to any perceived anti-Catholicism no matter how slight or non-existent. --Edgerunner76Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? 13:25, 2 December 2009 (UTC)

Eligibility Questions[edit]

Are sedevecanitist antipopes eligible? Like this guy? I mean, it takes a special degree of lunacy to claim you are the pope, when you were elected by six people, including yourself, your parents, and your BFF. MDB 13:52, 2 December 2009 (UTC)

As you might expect from being in the Fun namespace, there aren't many hard and fast rules. Obviously, my intent was for only canonical Popes of the RC church, but it really doesn't matter. I say put him up, especially if you can make it funny. --Edgerunner76Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? 14:20, 2 December 2009 (UTC)

Catholics and Communism[edit]

So someone mentioned JPII and the end of Communism in Europe--the BBC just did a doc. on the subject....
