Hiya Kelseigh, and welcome back to the dollhouse! Nice to see the little rooms filling up with old friends so fast. Human 22:40, 21 May 2007 (CDT)

Thanks! It's nice to be here, although I'm still figuring out what my place here is going to be. I know I can provide some PD original art and photogrpahy on demand, just let me know what your needs are. --Kels 22:43, 21 May 2007 (CDT)

Archiving[edit]

I threw the talkpage template on here, so you can judge if you'd prefer to use it to organizizise your archives... humanbe in 16:35, 28 August 2007 (CDT)

I'm not in charge of nuttin'! If we have such a titled article, it's probably in "fun" by now. You might want to check wikipedia, I've heard they have a lot of pron and pop trivia to lure unsuspecting readers for their fantasy for-profit business plan. humanbe in 19:37, 1 October 2007 (EDT)

Ontario elections[edit]

Impressive win, I am glad Tory has gone done in such flames...no one else I know cares, whether friends from Canada or the states..so I am writing to you :). tmtoulouse oppress 22:22, 10 October 2007 (EDT)

Meh, I'm not fond of the Liberals either. They're not really "liberal", of course, that falls to the NDP. Right now, I'm really watching to see if the NDP breaks the 10-seat barrier and gets official party status. --Kels 22:58, 10 October 2007 (EDT)
I just didn't like Tory...since I am not a Canadian citizen I don't matter...but still its interesting. tmtoulouse oppress 23:03, 10 October 2007 (EDT)
Tory screwed up bad by pushing public funding of Catholic schools, then waffling when even the party faithful came out against it. Given that McGuinty made obvious lies while in office, it would have been a much different race if Tory hadn't made that mistake. --Kels 23:08, 10 October 2007 (EDT)

Mr. B.[edit]

"For this, we make him sysop? Oy!" We play on the wild side. I hope user:teratornis gets this soon... we love to make CP sysops sysops here, just to see how it plays out. What kind of furries are there? I flipped when I saw this chick with cat stripes all over herself during Halloween. I think that's my flavor. NorsemanWassail! 21:17, 4 November 2007 (EST)

Haha. Well, there are degrees. A lot are just fans of the anthro style. Then there are ones who are attracted to that idea, and role-play. Then you've got varying levels beyond that which get into fursuiting (dressing up in animal costumes, usually large and elaborate, and often having sex in them) and furry lifestyle stuff. That's all way beyond where I'm happy being, though. I'm mostly the sort who likes the art/genre, enjoys being around others and role-playing, but not too much more than that. --Kels 21:19, 4 November 2007 (EST)
I'm a fan of furry art, but I didn't know people could look so good furried up in bodypaint. I always thought of getting elf ears if I lost grasp on reality. The rest of what you said isn't my style, not even roleplay (I have no imagination). Very interesting, thanks. NorsemanWassail! 22:09, 4 November 2007 (EST)

Thor[edit]

Thor may well smite me for this, but I love the picture you found for the site. Please, please, let me know which issue that's from (I've seen the picture before, but I don't remember where). Email me if you prefer to leave your comic degeneracy out of public view. (I'm a dork and let everyone know it.) Researcher 22:48, 19 November 2007 (EST)

I seriously don't remember the issue. I do remember, back in the 80's, there was a line art version of that pic and the caption I used hanging in the comic shops back home. It's Walt Simonson's work, that much I know for sure. As to comic degeneracy, I think it's a bit late to hide that, eh? --Kels 23:06, 19 November 2007 (EST)
I'll just have to hit the net when I care enough. And, good point. Thanks anyway. Researcher 23:08, 19 November 2007 (EST)

Nova Scotia[edit]

You're from NS?! I thought i was the only Canadian on here, let alone Nova Scotian. I think we are the most blocked place on Conservapedia. --Uncle J 13:47, 2 December 2007 (EST)

I've been in Ottawa for about 3 1/2 years, but the rest of my life was in Nova Scotia (about half that in Halifax/Dartmouth). I'm assuming a lot of the Ottawa blocks are to get me, which is odd since I've never had an account or sock there (although apparently they think several were mine). --Kels 14:00, 2 December 2007 (EST)

It's not you, apparently there is a persistent vandal located in Halifax and Sydney whose vandalized Conservapedia under hundreds of accounts, his name is the Halifax troll. Apparently conservapedia knows its a guy even though they haven't caught him yet. --Uncle J 14:03, 2 December 2007 (EST)

Maybe they should send the FBI after him --Uncle J 14:03, 2 December 2007 (EST)

Oh, I knew it was the Halifax troll, it's just a weird coincidence. I wish I was still down there, I love the Maritimes, but I've got a life up here now so it's not likely I'll move back soon. --Kels 14:50, 2 December 2007 (EST)

really, well most people bash the Maritimes, even people from here. Although there is more opportunity in Halifax then there is where i'm located. --Uncle J 20:39, 2 December 2007 (EST)

Where are you at? I grew up way in the corner of Halifax County, where it borders on both Hants and Colchester. But I love NS, it's awesome. To quote Spider Robinson, "Nova Scotia is the best place in the world. But don't tell anyone, or they'll all want to come here!" --Kels 21:06, 2 December 2007 (EST)
I grew up on Cape Breton Island, in a town called Glace Bay. --Uncle J 00:22, 3 December 2007 (EST)

I've been in Glace Bay. Hell, I tried to sell encyclopedias in Glace Bay (worst. job. ever.) --Kels 06:39, 3 December 2007 (EST)

I'm fairly sure that he was up to the two day block, in fibonacci order. Feel free to extend it accordingly; I wont cry any tears and he needs to learn the no-real-names rule.-αmεσ (spy) 14:51, 30 December 2007 (EST)

No, it was the first block after Human's statement that we'd be starting the Fibonnaci in days, so this and the next would be only 1-day. I figure a fresh start on the sequence would make the most sense. I blocked both sides, to be fair. --Kels 15:00, 30 December 2007 (EST)
Intimidating behaviour/harassment? --Robledo 15:25, 30 December 2007 (EST)
I talked to him privately and he agreed it was fair. --Kels 15:44, 30 December 2007 (EST)
Hai guise, yes, it's me, Interpreted, and I'm totally circumventing my block by using a tor node. Anyhow, it's utterly fair, because in this edit, I certainly intended to say something bad, even if it didn't come out as the whirling storm of obscenities that I half-intended. --90.185.58.71

We didn't have to appropriate ratio, however… I think we have to (temporarily?) revert to keep in line with policy. --Linus(plot evil tech) 23:09, 15 January 2008 (EST)
What policy? You guys were arguing about quorum after the vote started. Same goes for ratio. If everyone else can ad-hoc, then I'm gonna do the same and you know, actually do what moderators do and get rid of the source of the trolling and disruption. --Kels 23:12, 15 January 2008 (EST)

Seriously, enough is enough. It's like 10 to 5. Robledo and TMT haven't voted; they'll both vote yes. The only other person I can think of who hasn't voted, or expressed an abstention, is Researcher. Let's pull the trigger. I think it's tough now, and I admire us all for taking the time to think this through seriously, but there comes a point where enough is enough. Thanks! I want to be able to do portraiture, so I'm practicing a lot these days. Lips are the big thing right now, so I've been doing a lot of studies. 23 so far, I'm shooting for 100!
I'm jealous - I've got the artistic ability of a dead mongolian warthog foetus. Don't tell me to keep trying - I've had lessons & still can't manage anything non-geometric. SusanThe Earth Moved 13:16, 1 March 2008 (EST)
Bah, so take a different approach. If you can't manage non-geometric, work on geometric! Given that I was drawing stuff like this less than two years ago, I have faith that it's not a matter of talent, whatever that is, but focus and point of view. --Kels 13:44, 1 March 2008 (EST)
Oh, nostalgia. I remember when people told me I was a talented drawer. Of course, I was eight, and you can crap at that age and have it called artistic genius. What I had in mind was that you read the poems and draw illustrations that fit the poems. I thought of Andy fighting temptation to masturbate. That's less indecent than actual masturbation. It's also in character for a Christian man that he really wants to (do the m-thing) and really fights hard to control it. I don't know specifically if Andy is like that. I just know Christian men sometimes are. You draw what makes you feel inspired.Barbara Shack 16:58, 3 April 2008 (EDT)
