Pseudomathematics
From RationalWiki
Pseudomathematics is the mathematical version of pseudoscience, and reminiscent of it in some ways. A hobby of pseudomathematicians is to attempt to perform impossible mathematical feats such as squaring the circle and discrediting (or outright disproving) sound theorems (some, such as Gödel's incompleteness theorems, are more prone to attacks), usually without using the conventional definitions, rigor, etc. found in formal mathematical models.
One thing pseudomathematicians overlook is that due to the deductive nature of mathematics, theorems are effectively "proven", unlike science's theories (unless something is seriously wrong with the axioms, at least).
