I replied at my talkpage about the Superman S. As it's borderline important and we're both here, I INSIST that you reply NOW. Cheers! :) {{User:SuperJosh/Sig|}} 22:46, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

I generally like your cleanup of my edits, but I do think something should be saved of my +realism of US founding section [http://rationalwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=United_States&diff=437100&oldid=437091] [[User:JacobPatt|JacobPatt]] 23:19, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

Revision as of 23:19, 22 September 2009

  • The 2008 election night party is enshrined at this dump. Thank you all for popping in, it was a blast!
  • The May 20/21 2009 RationalWiki second birthday party is here. There may still be some stains on the carpet, so be careful.

  • Somewhere around here I usually express my preference for avoiding table-tennis conversations. If I muck up your talk page, I'll stalk you until you reply there. If you defame my lovely estate of ones and zeros here, I'll add some random non sequitur to it here. Cheers! ħumanUser talk:Human

So WTF?

You call them "fucking IDiots", abuse your powerz and call PJR a moron directly and........nothing! No block and a temp suspension of your powers. As I stated to Phil, he just dislikes me personally. Must be the AUS/NZ rivalry. Ace McWickedModel 500 20:22, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

SuperJosh made me a special creationist-proof suit I wear when performing such exploits. As long as I believe in the suit, they can't touch me. ħumanUser talk:Human 23:28, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
I think you mean CUR. I did the Liberal Protection Suit then he started something about an anti stupid suit. SJ Debaser 19:03, 11 September 2009 (UTC)
You realize that an inside-out LPS works in exactly the way I described, right? It's not a bug, it's a feature! ħumanUser talk:Human 23:10, 17 September 2009 (UTC)

What am I watching at one in the morning whilst simultaneously editing on my laptop...?

I'll give you a hint...

Graham ChapmanScientist in a Sketch Who is Not Graham Chapman: With what sport is Wimbledon commonly associated?
Sexy Blonde Late 1960s Bimbo: Erm...
(For those viewers at home, the answer is coming up on your television set: Wimbledon. The Question once again:)
Graham ChapmanScientist in a Sketch Who is Not Graham Chapman: With what sport is Wimbledon commonly associated?
Sexy Blonde Late 1960s Bimbo: Erm... Cricket!
Graham ChapmanScientist in a Sketch Who is Not Graham Chapman: No, Tennis!

Endo story: The Blancmanges want to win Wimbledon. SJ Debaser 00:08, 18 September 2009 (UTC)

Scroll down to the last picture: http://www.humanspeakers.com/diy/c3-built1.htm :) Funny that I knew exactly which episode you were referring to at the first line... ħumanUser talk:Human 00:26, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
Haha, brilliant! Chapman is amazing in the upper class, posh roles. Blancmanges at Wimbledon is probably one of their best sketches along with Dead Parrot, Arthur 'Two Sheds' Jackson, and Confuse-A-Cat. SJ Debaser 00:34, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
Chapman was the unsung, and then starring, genius of the troupe. I was never a huge Cleese fan, but anyway. What's cool about the Scotsmen/Blancmange ep is that it was in the 4th season, when there were more "long-themed" jokes. They were some of the weaker shows in my, and Cleese's, opinion. But this one shines, it is almost a precursor to what MPFC could/can do in the "long format" - their fillums. Ah, Angus Podgorny, poet! ħumanUser talk:Human 02:58, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
The blancmange episode was series one, but I know what you mean. As much as I like Cleese I've always thought the other Python's seemed to stand out more. Not to say I don't like Cleese - he was brilliant in Life of Brian. "Are you the Judean People's Front?" "Fuck off! ... We're the People's Front of Judea!" Mice Problem was one of the longer ones too, and Cleese was good as the ex-mice man in that. SJ Debaser 13:29, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
Heh, that's funny, I should have looked it up before pretending to be an expert. I like Cleese well enough, but his trademark routines do tend towards screeching abuse at people. That said, Silly Walks was brilliant, and I loved his "Emcee in Cafe" thing. ħumanUser talk:Human 18:42, 18 September 2009 (UTC)

Message…

Left a response on my page. Would you be offended if I reverted your edit and then put in the 'teh'? I'm a professional writer, so misspellings (of exposé, for example), grammar, and 'noise modifiers' (some, very, rather, even) give me the shakes.

Best regards, --UnicornTapestry 08:19, 18 September 2009 (UTC)

Henry Lee Lucas

Ok, I tried to start an article on Henry Lee Lucas, but due to some computer problems...well, you'll see if you open the article. Could you please fix it, I can't do it from this computer.

Made link to follow... who sent this, Toast or Kyle? Is Kyle one of Toast's friends IRL? Editing from the pub on a laptop? ħumanUser talk:Human 01:47, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
Kyle=Mustex, sorry about that, I forgot to use my screen name. And nevermind, I just changed over from Internet Explorer to Firefox and the formatting problem was solved.
Dunno Mustex. It's ten to three AM so no-one in the pub. I am eating Toast& honeychat 01:51, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
Article looks pretty interesting, I copyedited it a tiny bit, but it reads well. I now see the chain of editing events ;) Thanks for your help, Toast! ħumanUser talk:Human 01:52, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
I added in som information from the Biography episode on him. If you want to add a link, this guy has the episode in multiple parts on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/jonz1943

Ace McWicked

BTW, I was told my appointment as a sysop had something to do with "usurping" a user named Ace McWicked. Could I please get the backstory on this?--Mustex 02:12, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

Ace is our token piss artist - everyone who's been here for over thirty minutes without causing mayhem gets syssopped. Just lay back & think of England (or wherever your heart lies). I am eating Toast& honeychat 02:21, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
What was meant by that was the demoter, GoonieSpunk, was beating Ace McEvil to the punch by demoting you. Trouble is, here, we tend to sysop almost every Tom, Dink, and Hairy that turns up and doesn't wandalize within eleven seconds. Hence your subsequent promotion pending "time" and eventual re-demotion. That is all. ħumanUser talk:Human 03:09, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

PS

Two guys have apparently been vandalising your page, I blocked them for an hour, but apparently they have unblocking power, so are they not vandals? Did I miss something?--Mustex 02:15, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

Yup: it's called playing. (Apparently) Most of us grow out of it but ... I am eating Toast& honeychat 02:18, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
Have they, indeed? By the way, Mustex, we don't actually bother to block people here, although I'm sure you meant well. Now I'll have to go see what these chumps were doing, clever little monkeys that they are. ħumanUser talk:Human 03:11, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

A CP move on WikiSynergy

Hahaha, since I have no ethics insofar as WikiSynergy goes, I permanently deleted Grrron Goose and permantently protected it. A CP move, no doubt, but fuck that asshole. (If you can't tell by the fact that I'm bragging about it, I'm drunk).Lord of the Goons The official spikey-haired skeptical punk 05:37, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

Well, WS isn't RW anyway... I don't know if you noticed or not, but PS deleted quite a few chunks of talk pages (pretty much everything GG was on?). ħumanUser talk:Human 20:00, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for cleaning after me

It could be stalking, but thanks for the numerous edits you've made to things I've contributed. The darwin stuff looks a lot better after your changes. If it is stalking, I'm flattered but happily married. --Concernedresident 20:20, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

Hehe, you're welcome. I just like to read what people add, and copyedit if it seems to be needed, as is often the case with fresh additions. ħumanUser talk:Human 20:23, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
