They were all imported to enable {{cite web}} and a better version of {{quote}} It would be nice if there was a namespace function of templates and a auto-import, so these things would be easier to manage.JacobPatt 23:17, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

Yes, I don't really like Wikipedia's enormously complicated ways, and the template syntax of mediawiki, IMHO sucks. But the template of wikipedia have a certain, simple, syntax. If it wasn't for the language sucking so much I could reimplament them. Perhaps with Gooniepunk2005's recommendation?JacobPatt 23:28, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

What Toast said. I started off unsuccessfully too though - the first full article I wrote got deleted within a week for being off topic. (Admittedly, it was, and I was only finding my feet here). Might I suggest that before storming around improving the site, you take some time to get to know us and letting us get to know you. While you may have many good points to make, we are rather averse to rapid change, being largely old farts or young firebrands. As I said somewhere, we are a mobocracy and like to operate by consensus. I think you'll find we're easy to get on with as long as you accept that a number of us don't like being told what to do by "upstarts". If you want to import templates from WP, feel free to do so but documentation is all: many of us need the instructions to hand, I find a lot of WP's templates impenetrable and when they include equally dense subtemplates this exacerbates the situation. Also we have a help page for quotes which should be amended to include any new templates. As to article page edits, try to keep in tune with the style of the particular page in question. Best policy is to comment on the talk page before any radical edit. Come chat in the Saloon bar and get to know us and let us know you. ^{I am eating} _& honey^chat 00:37, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

Hey, if you have any questions or need any help with anything as far as writing styles and stuff go, feel free to ask me. I remember what it was like being a new editor here; I meant well, but stepped on many toes trying to figure out how to do what I wanted to do. I get the feeling you are in the same predicament, stepping on Human's and Toasts toes this time.
