Dream
My dream is that some day, some one, somewhere, will say, "The science articles on Wikipedia are too dense and bloated for me. But I found this great place, where they explain things clearly and concisely. It's called RationalWiki..."
My dream is that some day, some one, somewhere, will say, "I found this great place, where you can talk about serious things like religion and society, but you can also have fun. It's called RationalWiki..."
That is my dream. Even though I don't contribute anything of substance to this site, just remember, that I remember, what this site is all really all about.
Pledge
Many moons ago, on another site, I pledged to always be civil. Lately, I seem to have abandoned that pledge.
I'm sorry.
I renew that pledge right now. I will remain civil, cordial, and approachable at all times. I will stop and think before posting strong words. I will be a devil's advocate, and support the disregarded.
