Well, yeah, obviously societal pressures and influences are a huge factor. There's no biological reason for girls to be attracted to the color pink.

This shit makes me so angry because it propagates the 'men are generic, women are special' meme. Regular software is for men -- 'girls' need special, 'girly' software. It makes me want to say the word 'fuck'.

Yep. and it would seem like there are many that should be basically co-ed, especially though middle school and even early highschool.

Track, cross country, golf (not s sport, but still), diving - why can't boys and girls compete in diving? i'm sure there's more. we should be encourging co-ed, not reducing it.

We should bring that up in the Sports article. I mean, shit, if they're going to segregate the sports, they should at least fucking make sure both sexes have a team. I mean, I'm pretty not only males like to play football.
