Another thing that pisses me off: sports are gendered, and what makes it especially egregious is the types of sports that males and females can take are almost always different. Fuck.

Yep. and it would seem like there are many that should be basically co-ed, especially though middle school and even early highschool.

Track, cross country, golf (not s sport, but still), diving - why can't boys and girls compete in diving? i'm sure there's more. we should be encourging co-ed, not reducing it.

We should bring that up in the Sports article. I mean, shit, if they're going to segregate the sports, they should at least fucking make sure both sexes have a team. I mean, I'm pretty not only males like to play football.
