I never pushed it past size 14, double-spaced, 1-inch margins.

In fact, back when my essays were still hand-written, I would meticulously redraw the margins of the lined paper so they were actually 1", rather than the 1.25" most lined papers use. But that's because I was obsessive-compulsive; I'm totally better now! (He said as he made another edit adding double-spaces between sentences...)

I used to clock volunteer hours at a school library re-shelving it. By the end of the year, I had re-shelved the entire library.

Heh. i used to rant at you people. I would be like "do you all know how fucking decimals work? 0.123 is NOT bigger than 0.4! and BF belongs in BF don't make me go running around to the BE section to find my texts! ;-)

It gets worse. I would fill shelves to max capacity, which eventually resulted in 3 entire shelves being completely empty and then requiring relabeling.

geek! ;-)

was this in college, hs, or earlier.

HS. I had a study hall, would get a library pass and get to work.

In middle school, I was a library aide. Given that this was the early 2000s, a significant part of the time was spent manually running the virus scanner on each of the 20+ PCs every day.

(That time was... weird for me. My gullibility resulted in me reading 500 page books on why extraterrestrials, the Loch Ness monster, and bigfoot, were totally real, man, and believing them. Suffice to say, if you had any questions about the vast government conspiracy to cover up UFOs, I was your man.)

Hey, that was back in 2003. I'm way out of date on my Bigfootology now. I probably couldn't even tell you the difference between the Eastern and Western subspecies anymore :-)

...I hated those days. My hand writing was...and still is small, so, my essays were not only hard to read for the practically blind, but they would be longer.

I figure that the reason my handwriting looks like ancient coptic is so that no teacher could decide if what i said was correct or not. ;-)

My Cyrillic is better than my normal handwriting, which is just sad.

ТyYAUA04:11, 14 March 2012
