The Roman economy was your standard Classical economy - they had a rough idea about inflation but that was it. He really doesn't even have an inkling of a clue does he? Yes. It is directly related to our Andy Schlafly article and it should be a sub-page of that. However, I notice that there is no link from that article to this which is obviously an oversight.
