Are you a division of Stark Industries? S.H.I.E.L.D. perhaps? -- Deadpool Oh, Bea Arthur, how could you leave me?!

Hello there, welcome to rationalWiki. Would care to explain your reasoning, rather than shouting about conspiracies? It would really help your argument if you provided some evidence for your belief, rather than accusing us of editing on behalf of the government/CIA or whatever. Totnesmartin 18:41, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

Seeing is believing. I've watched planes laying down grids of supposed contrails. Clouds don't form in grid patterns. These 'contrails' don't dissipate. They spread out over the course of a few hours turning a perfectly clear blue sky intro a hazy white/blue overcast. There are thousands of pictures and videos that clearly show this, aside from my own observations. Have you even looked at these?

The very tone of your description is an insult to people's intelligence.

Yes, I know about contrails, I've seen loads. The thing is, are they part of some attempt to pollute the atmosphere/corrupt our minds/ etc, or are they just vapour trails? And do explain how asking you to explain your edit to the chemtrail page is an insult. Totnesmartin 19:41, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

No, I don't think the government is trying to corrupt our minds or pollute the atmosphere. I believe it's an attempt to counteract global warming/climate change. Today was a classic example. What started as a perfectly clear blue sky turned into a hazy grey white overcast within a few hours of the flights. These contrails don't dissipate. They gradually spread out covering the sky and it's their pattern (the x's and grids that they form) that is not natural. Clouds don't form like that and it's highly unlikely that it's purely coincidental that the jets fly in those patterns.

In any case, why does this site and Wikipedia redirect a search for 'chemtrails' info to 'chemtrails conspiracy theory'? Do you refer to all new or unproven theories as conspiracy? I was referring to your description of "conspiracy cranks" as an insult to people's intelligence, not your request for me to explain myself. It comes across as an attempt to discredit or ridicule anyone that raises this issue.

Care to respond?

You're winding us up, right? ToastToastand marmite 01:21, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

No, I wasn't. Who's us anyway? If I wanted to wind you up, as you say, I would have suggested you visit my site http://CRIMEinc.com
