WineOfTyrants hails from the Left Coast and thus is a morally degenerate socialist. His writing, most notably on a blog called Unspoken Politics, focuses on world events, politics, and religion.
Of particular interest is the presence of conspiracy theories in left-wing political movements, and other groups that claim to value science over tradition and superstition. What portion of the skeptic community drops their standards for political reasons. In terms of politics, Wine is an avid proponent of nonviolent struggle to achieve social and political change. If you'd like to get a lot of top-flight, free material on nonviolent action, check out the Albert Einstein Institution, the organization run by Gene Sharp, who is every year one of the favorites for the Nobel Peace Prize.
For years, Wine has produced poetry, primarily free verse mixed with random shit like a Cinquain. Like most educated twentysomethings he'd like to write a book but needs a creative writing class or six.
A staunch atheist, Wine identifies as a Unitarian Universalist.
