Believe it or not, PJ O'Rourke used to be funny. I actually liked his books when I was in high school.

Now he's a columnist for the Weekly Standard, writing crap like this. Apparently, liberals hate and fear poor people. Also, a bunch of stuff about smoking, with an attempt at cleverly tying it in at the end. Let's see... Bill Clinton, Monica Lewinsky, liberals hate X, "Elites"... hey, I just won Unfounded Conservative Canard Bingo!

Though I will say, banning smoking in private homes, even if they are supplemented by state income, is heinous over reach to me. You should have no right to regulate LEGAL behaviors, and i suspect it will be taken to court and overturned.
