Eh, I think that's way beyond my skill level. I actually "stole" template:u straight from Uncyclopedia, and making a funspace equivalent was quite easy. All I do is steal code, I don't actually understand it. Additionally, I think the template would be too complex to be practical. It would have to be able to replace all these conventional links using fewer keystrokes than otherwise:

• [[talk:calculator|calculator]] → calculator
• [[talk:calculator|here]] → here
• [[fun talk:calculator|fun:calculator]] → fun:calculator
• [[fun talk:calculator|calculator]] → calculator
• [[fun talk:calculator|here]] → here

You do it conditionally, so the functionality is still there. But if the fun article has the same title and you don't want a different text for the link, all ya gotta do is type {{fun}}. human ^{be in} 18:32, 8 February 2008 (EST)
