Teleology

Simply put, teleology is a philosophical arguement that posits a designed purpose to nature and humanity. It is the basis of certain types of bullshit, such as Intelligent Design. It's also the basis of some of the world's greatest rational thinkers like, oh, Aristotle, Aquinas, Locke, Hobbes and Kant
