Would you kindly explain what a 'quasi-fascistic' means of the suppression of dissent means? I don't suppose they suppressed him using their 'act-not-talk', dynamic, militaristic and nationalistic reverence of a strong charismatic leader. --מְתֻרְגְּמָן וִיקִי שְׁלֹום!

The man's keepin him down, man! You're just part of the fascist conspiracy, man. Animals before people! Animals before people! JazzMan 14:15, 20 November 2008 (EST)
Did you know that one of the earliest examples of someone calling someone 'the man' (in a positive, 'you the man', sense), was Bismarck, of Disraeli? The more you know ... --מְתֻרְגְּמָן וִיקִי שְׁלֹום!
The term "fascist" is used in the sense that the way UK government "banned" him from attending the rally was opposite to democratic norm. See the definition of fascist. Informally the term "fascist" is used to describe something "unfairly oppressive or needlessly strict". --Until every cage is empty 14:22, 20 November 2008 (EST)
That's the informal, incorrect usage of fascism. The word has a specific meaning, and labelling every opponent with it (as liberals are wont to do) cheapens the term and makes it less meaningful when you confront a genuinely fascist state. Boy who cried wolf, etc. --מְתֻרְגְּמָן וִיקִי שְׁלֹום!
Ok, then remove it, still I personally think the way he was prohibited from attending a completely non-violent rally is fascist (in informal sense) in nature. Until every cage is empty 14:30, 20 November 2008 (EST)

Tiger, lion[edit]

Could anyone explain this edit. What is the point of this sentence? Tigers and lions are also oppressed when they are taken prisoners without any crime in zoos. Or when they are hunted for their skin. Until every cage is empty 15:50, 20 November 2008 (EST)
