I think this pretty easily falls within our mission. I can't imagine any reason for deleting it, other than it being totally made up. Looks to me like it happened so it should be kept. I am detecting a strong bias against the author of this otherwise rather unnoteworthy piece. It is not a work of art, and perhaps it is not exactly an international diplomatic incident, but I see no reason at all to delete it, and plenty to keep it.
