Talk:Sokaling sophisticated theologians

This was in the Sophisticated theology article but was taken out. I think it's relevant and should be in RationalWiki somewhere. Proxima Centauri (talk) 08:30, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

I'm not seeing the relevance besides "haha they got tricked by this guy who did something like it but much bigger" --Mikal Harass Follow 08:34, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
Exactly: you think it's relevant, Proxima. No one with any expertise in the area actually does. It's not worth having an entire article about a subsection of an article about a snarl word. Keep[edit]

I think this pretty easily falls within our mission. I can't imagine any reason for deleting it, other than it being totally made up. Looks to me like it happened so it should be kept. Mabe it could be merged with another article but I think it is alright as it is. --DamoHi 08:52, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

Given that "sophisticated theologians" do not exist, meaning they cannot be "sokaled" (and making the title itself a straw man), it should be merged with the sophisticated theology article. Let's at the very least keep this till David Gerard has a chance to comment as he's the main author. Proxima Centauri (talk) 09:04, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
I am detecting a strong bias against the author of this otherwise rather unnoteworthy piece. It is not a work of art, and perhaps it is not exactly an international diplomatic incident, but I see no reason at all to delete it, and plenty to keep it. For a start, it made me chuckle. --DamoHi 09:23, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

Stabby! Do you have it in you to be nice? Incidentally this looks set to become an exciting firework display. Proxima Centauri (talk) 09:41, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

ToP has put it into Theology, where it actually fits quite well - David Gerard (talk) 16:03, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
