Delete?[edit]

Another funny-at-the-time stub that's just a poke at some CP topic. Delete? Totnesmartin (talk) 19:55, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, either that or slap the CP-centric sticker on it and think of some way to bring it back into the fold. But I won't lose sleep over it if it's deleted. Scarlet A.pngtheist 19:58, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
An article on sleep &/or dreams could be on mission, given the number of pseudoscience & woo theories applied to them. WéáśéĺóíďWeaselly.jpgMethinks it is a Weasel 20:22, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
We have Lucid dreaming which has some interesting things, but not a massive amount. If you can think of any, do any woomeisters restrict or prescribe sleep? Scarlet A.pngtheist 20:25, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
Cult leaders sometimes deprive their followers of sleep... but we could put that under cult. I'm not aware of any particular sleep woo... a few old wives' tales (all that stuff about spiders etc) etc but that's it. Nothing we can use. woomeisters go more on dreams, which we could do. Certainly nothing here to save. ħumanUser talk:Human 22:50, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

So... over a year has passed... delete? ТyTalk. 23:26, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

my objection to this would be that there is a lot of woo surrounding sleep--User:Brxbrx/sig 23:31, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
Even if it's originally meant to poke fun at you-know-what, there's a bit of Sleep woo around. That's why I added a bit on Polyphasic sleep, which was passed around as a method of productivity boosting or otherwise controlling some form of sleep disorders. I'm quite sure there's also some things meant to substitute sleep (i.e. some pill allows you to last 1 week without sleep), and there's manufacturers capitalizing on "the perfect bed". --Sigma 7 (talk) 00:26, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
I'll retract the deletion. ТyTalk. 01:53, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

Nothing missional here. No woo dealt with several years on. Delete. Nutty Roux (talk) 13:33, 16 May 2014 (UTC)

No don't delete man, why would you delete information. The science on sleep and sleeping patterns is practically new who knows what we will discover in the future -- Maartenww 18:02, 22 May 2020 (CEST)
