Pentagon

A pentagon is a closed planar figure with five sides and five vertices.

A regular pentagon has five equal sides, and the angles they make are also equal. A familiar example would be the Chrysler logo.

The United States Department of War Defense maintains its bureaucratic headquarters in a building of this shape, which, imaginatively, is known as "The Pentagon". The Pentagon was one of the three successfully targeted buildings attacked on "The September the Eleventh" by terrorists armed with box cutters and jet planes.
