This template was created as an alternative to the frustratingly complex (and, unfortunately, standard on most wikis) Template:Cquote.

It has two parameters, and both are required for the template to work.

The first parameter is the quote itself.

The second parameter is the person the quote is attributed to. This is also where to stick in a link to the source (if it's off the internet) or use <ref> if need be.

For example, typing {{quote|It really annoys me when conservatives and other right-wingers whine about 'tax and spend' liberals. What they really mean is 'liberals want to spend money on stuff that I’m not particularly in favor of and they have the audacity to expect the American public to pay for governmental services.'|JoJo[http://www.acandidworld.net/2008/08/17/elitism-cultural-or-financial/#comment-4202]}} produces

"It really annoys me when conservatives and other right-wingers whine about 'tax and spend' liberals.
