This discussion has been moved here from [[{{{1}}}|{{{1}}}]].

This template denotes a discussion thread that was originally posted on one page, and was moved to another. It is the counterpart to Template:Movedto, and is placed at the head of discussions that have been moved.

This template's main parameter is used to link to name the page the discussion originally started on.

For example, {{movedfrom|Conservapedia talk:What is going on at CP?}} produces:

This discussion has been moved here from Conservapedia talk:What is going on at CP?.

An optional second parameter is used to specify the section of the page where the discussion originated. It must always begin with a #.

For example, {{movedfrom|Conservapedia talk:What is going on at CP?|#Off-topic comment}} produces text looking the same as above, but linking straight to a section of the WIGO talk page called "Off-topic comment".
