Research suggests difference in brain structure. Part of hippocampus.

Bailey, et al heavily criticized, research mainly done in gay bars among prostitutes, applied to entire population. Also, John Money.

Many FtM's come from lesbian community, more visible recently.

Other Transgender expressions. Crossdressing, genderqueer, genderfucking, etc. Controversy over whether transsexuals or intersexed should be referred to as transgender.

Reparative Therapy

Modern psychological equivalent of leeches and trepanning. No scientific underpinning.

Amusing to see proponents of unscientific reparative therapy dissing Freud for being unscientific

Propaganda/Culture Wars

Everything in service of ideology. Art, science, society, even religion must serve ideology. Aspect of fascism, or part of far right, "social conservative" behaviour in general?

Variable Speed of Light

To the best of my knowledge, there is only one scientific theory that suggests a much faster speed of light early in the cosmos' history, and that is the VSL theory put forward by University of Toronto professor John Moffat, which suggests a hugely faster speed of light constant in the first few moments following the Big Bang.

Creationists have long speculated on a variable speed of light, and some attempt to use Moffat's theory to give legitimacy to their claims, but ignore the fact that Moffat's concept only applies to the first few moments following the Big Bang, and still requires both the Big Bang itself, often denied by creationists, and an ancient universe following that event. So this does little to solve the Starlight Problem of creationists, and merely underlines the intellectual dishonesty of the position.

A quick search gave this here. In there, you get

AmesG, you're great and we welcome your contributions, but do you have any entries that rank so well? Whatever the reason, the results are hard to dispute.
