About me[edit]

I am currently a student at Kettering University in Flint, Michigan, USA, studying Computer Engineering and Computer Science. I have a bit of a knack for Philosophy, but I wish to be employed, so I am not majoring in it.

I'm a libertarian, which sometimes puts me at odds with some of the liberal member of this site, as my economic views are different than the average liberal, and even some social views are based more on ability, not enforcement (for instance, I'm against affirmative action, but for equal rights). Although I should note I'm not full blown near-anarchy libertarian, more like moderate-libertarian with a slight liberal lean. So most of the time I get along fine with liberals.

Except when they say social security's a good thing. Dumbasses (he said in good humor)

Why I'm better than Schafly[edit]

I can admit when I don't have enough education in an area to prove the validity of my arguments. As evidenced by a discussion of my essay:

"Please note that I am an engineering major, and so I am not as well-read on systems of language, philosophy, and etymology. Can you give me a brief explanation and/or a source that could help explain the different systems of logic you give, as well as any other points you're trying to make? Because I don't want to look stupid by arguing something I may just not have enough experience in"

Note how I don't assert that I know more than somebody who very well might have more experience than me on a subject

Editing Style[edit]

Generally, I will just browse the site, reading random articles, editing small things that I find pertinent to serious articles and humorous to add to the not-so-serious ones. I also will check my watched and recently edited pages on a fairly regular basis, to be sure nobody offends me by doing something so awful as correcting my spelling.
