BrainMop.png As a confirmed mustard jar for taking on this job as a Sysop on RationalWiki: I, ConservapediaEditor, pledge to only block users if they ask for it, or insert unfunny vandalism.
I furthermore pledge that if I indulge in secret private conversations about you, we will make a formal report to the mob. Is that all?
If you impugn my motives without warrant, or challenge my "AUTHORITY", er, there is nothing I can or will do.

I was Brown25 on CP.

A little about me:

I believe that Wikipedia has, as Jimbo Wales has said, a little liberal bias, and Conservapedia, well is just batshit crazy. The main problem with any user-created content, however, is that it is well just that. I take no source for granted, including news articles, unless I can verify. The problem with both Wikipedia and Conservapedia, to varying degrees with Conservapedia being a lot worse, is that they won't admit their bias.

So what is my bias? I am, generally an anarchocapitalist, with a belief in a rule of law only to maintain predefined property rights and personal rights and a belief in manipulating monetary policy and fiscal policy (Keynesian economics, but mainly with tax cuts and rebates as opposed to direct government spending) to smooth out short term economic effects (i.e. avoiding inverted yield curves or avoid doing what Andrew Jackson and Martin Van Buren did to cause the Panic of 1837 by failing to renew the charter of the national bank ... stuff like that). I also support a social safety net for life needs only (medical, food, shelter only in some places etc.) and free access to credit for pursuit of opportunity (student loans, but not housing loans, very small small (this is not a typo) business loans etc.).

I realize that these exceptions don't really make me an anarchocapitalist, but the foundation of my viewpoint is libertarian with a few statist twists, such as supporting a bit of Keynesian economics and social safety nets that are economically efficient. Generally, I oppose the government from preventing the creation of monopolies that are naturally created, except by well defined laws that do not prevent having too much market share (i.e. preventing explicit price collusion ... stuff like that). I support an extremely strong judiciary, a weaker legislature that are bound by preconceived constraints on what they can and cannot legislate, and I believe the executive branch should be the weakest.

I love being politically incorrect and just debating and discussing from the hip without personal judgment. While in person, my humor can be interpreted as offensive (pretty much to everybody, conservative ... liberal ... black ... white ... pro-choice ... pro-life), I just believe in shooting from the hip. That's why I love Bill Maher ... and Ron Paul ... a lot.

Feel free to engage me in any type of discussion.

Evolution of views since joining

After the November jobs report issued by the Bureau of Labor Statistics on December 4, 2009, I am starting to reevaluate the effectiveness of Barack Obama's stimulus plan. It seems now as if his stimulus plan is succeeding in stemming the amount of job losses, if even marginally.

I support the right of homosexual, bisexuals, ex-homosexuals, and ex-ex-homosexuals to choose whatever lifestyle they want. It's none of our goddamn business. How is ex-homosexuality or ex-ex-homosexuality any different from bisexuality?

That view about preventing price collusion. I wrote that? Was I trying to pretend to be more moderate than I really am ;)? I do not agree with that anymore; I'll explain why in detail if anyone actually gives a shit.
