One case of bad reporting[edit]
Not saying that she's always terrible when reporting news, but there has been at least one occasion where she pumped out some pretty inaccurate information, namely her segment on the F-22. LOTS of misleading statements and outright incorrect statements. Again, not saying she's always terrible, but as someone involved in F-22 development, her segment on the aircraft really soured my impression of her. 164.67.21.202 (talk) 08:40, 18 May 2014 (UTC)

- This video. While I'll freely admit that the F-22 has issues and aspects worth criticizing, her report here is blatant selective reporting to people more knowledgeable on the matter.

- I sat and watched the video. My knowledge of warplanes is pretty extensive and I could find nothing really objectionable. The replacement of MTBM with "Average Flight Time before Breakdown" is a bit off, but then again, I can't expect her to nail such an idea perfectly. Is there something I'm missing here? - She called the plane a so-called disaster by restating claims from a Washington Post article. However, the assertions from that article has been refuted by the USAF (i.e. it doesn't "melt in the rain").

- What's worse, she also cited a person called Pierre Sprey, an original member of the fighter mafia that has made many factually incorrect assertions (I can elaborate if you wish).
- She also implies that the F-22 no longer has a mission, which isn't true, considering Russian developments in the PAK FA and the Chinese with their J-20. It wasn't involved in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan because frankly, the adversaries there have no air force.
- Also wrong is her assertion that the F-22 somehow can't withstand small arms fire. Frankly, read about the live fire testing of the F-22; the aircraft structure has been subjected to tests involving 23 mm and 30 mm cannon rounds. Link here.
- The F-22 isn't dead, it's production is cut short.
