Anyone want to help me clean up this ESL? There's a lot of stuff, but virtually every sentence has some garbling. And there are way too many "strikeout" jokes... ħuman

- It's poorly written and I have to admit I was inclined to nominate it for deletion but for its history here being longer than mine. Why do we need this article? Is a regular editor here from the Philippines? It's not on mission. ...

- It is sad tracking the diffs on this thing. It started as a stub to dered a link, got filled up a little, though it had some silly bits. Then a new editor popped in, apparently, yes, a Filipino, and added a whole bunch of not-very-relevant history of the place, using a rather unique form of English and a similarly unique sense of organisation, mentioning the RCC and how they control the politics in every section. Sadly, very little about the Marcos dictatorship, which would at least serve to make it slightly on-mission. I suspect we should go through this with a hatchet and see if there is an RW article buried somewhere in it. ħuman 01:38, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

- I almost gave up after the first section, typing {{delete}} is much easier than translating this into English. And, yeah, there appears to be no mission content, despite the fact, I guess, that there could be (the Marcos dictators?). ħuman 01:43, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- This article reads like a bad opinion piece, with almost no citations for ANYTHING, (and even once citing dubious shit like Yahoo! Answers to back up their claims). - It would be good if there were. Generally, coverage of Asian subjects at RW is not great. That was one of my motivations for joining in here rather than just lurking. I have concentrated on what I know though which are subjects relating to Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia.
