Moses's Wife[edit]

Just want to point out that the explanation I've heard for Moses's Cushite wife is that it's said twice as an idiom. CorruptUser (talk) 05:07, 13 March 2015 (UTC)

Did he exist?[edit]

Various critical writers such as Raphael Lataster say that the academic consensus is that Moses didn't exist at all, never mind debates about how many wives he had. The article should discuss this important question. There's also the total lack of evidence for the Exodus. Annquin (talk) 20:46, 7 May 2016 (UTC)

I've heard that the remains of chariots have been found at the bottom of the Red Sea, but I'm not sure how believable that is because that happened thousands of years ago.97.41.130.243 (talk) 03:14, 29 May 2017 (UTC)

Said chariots might well be there having been being transported on ships encountering storms (and sinking/attempting to jettison anything to avoid said fate). Anna Livia (talk) 12:49, 24 March 2020 (UTC)

Moses' horns[edit]

Given the number of websites reiterating similar 'information' that Moses did have horns (rather than 'it was a mistranslation'/articles on medieval art etc) perhaps a slightly longer text on the subject is missional? (Exegesis is not one of my topics.) Anna Livia (talk) 12:49, 24 March 2020 (UTC)

It would certainly merit a better explanation, as one of the more humorous aspects of the Book of Exodus. --Annanoon (talk) 13:09, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
Would 'The Devil has horns; Moses supposedly acquired horns; therefore there is some devilry in the matter' be a suitable way of annoying certain fundamentalists? Anna Livia (talk) 17:19, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
