[edit] Help

Due to my lack co wiki ability I can't set this link up: http://www.seattleweekly.com/2006-02-01/news/discovery-s-creation.php: Can anybody help?--Bob_M (talk) 06:42, 23 June 2007 (CDT)

Did you mean like I've done now? Just add an new section called 'References' (or whatever) and add the <references/> tag to it. --Stevo 06:54, 23 June 2007 (CDT)
Yes, thanks Stevo. I'm not that good at this.--Bob_M (talk) 07:09, 23 June 2007 (CDT)

[edit] Has Behe been published since coming out of the closet?

I mean, published in a scientific journal? HeartGold tx 20:35, 27 June 2007 (CDT)

I think he has had 3-4 publications, there is the one paper the DI lists as a peer reviewed paper that supports intelligent design...he may have started out with that intention but the paper shows an example of how an IC system CAN evolve. Tmtoulouse 20:57, 27 June 2007 (CDT)
3-4 after he came out? Wow, I thought he would have been blacklisted. What is IC? HeartGold tx 21:12, 27 June 2007 (CDT)

Is he gay?!-AmesG 21:14, 27 June 2007 (CDT)

Me? HeartGold tx 21:16, 27 June 2007 (CDT)

Behe. You're married... or so you say.-AmesG 21:17, 27 June 2007 (CDT)

I am. Going out to the tent in a bit with wife and kids (we're camping out in our overly large exurban yard that uses too much water and fertalizer and gas to mow). Life is good. HeartGold tx 22:17, 27 June 2007 (CDT)

[edit] Behe ACD

I thinkt his article needs to be made good. Very good, in fact. It's sad that it's not that good, especially for this site. I plan to improve, can other people help who know things about Behe? Let's make it a contest! Winner gets a goat, and free legal advice*.-αmεσ (tinker) 15:09, 28 September 2007 (EDT)

* = actual legal advice is not free.

[edit] A nice misspelling

“Professor of Bioillogical Sciences” -- is that intentional? — Unsigned, by: 88.222.81.147 / talk / contribs

[edit] "BioILLOGICAL Sciences... misspelled purposely

I am an MS student in biology at Columbia University. I in no way endorse the views of Professor Behe, et al., but vandalizing the site is simply idiotic without defense.

I have edited it to reflect the correct spelling, Biological. Study biology people, it's truly the science of life - no reason to graffitti another scientist's website, however foolish he might seem or be.

"Vandalize"? "Graffiti"? This isn't his website, it's ours, and we apparently generally like the intentional misspelling. ħuman there is no cabal 15:34, 30 June 2008 (EDT)
I'm still new here and finding my way, but I have to ask (beyond the goat page) how serious the articles are supposed to be? "Mike playing in his meth lab" and "bioillogical" is cute, but it seems like something I'd go to Uncyclopedia for. It makes matters difficult if someone wanted to quote ratwiki.
I can live with either RationalWiki being serious or comic relief, but its schizophrenia (and mine) makes it unclear which it's intended to be. Thanks.

We do both, and I think one can usually tell what is snark and what is serious. UC requires that articles contain no facts, we just add some jokes while dealing with serious matters. It's part of what makes the site more enjoyable to read (and write), most of us think. ħuman sap 15:15, 9 August 2008 (EDT)
