If I remember correctly, 7 senate Republicans voted to impeach the mad orange, but then the Trump supporters harassed them afterward. They should be hailed for being at least half-decent. MarioSuperstar77 (talk) 23:17, 3 March 2021 (UTC)

Why does this page exist?[edit]

It’s just a list of names you can already find online, with a few paragraphs of generic, basic information we’ve all heard before on the main 2021 US Capitol riot page. I moved it to essayspace because I didn’t want to go through the trouble of nominating a funspace article for deletion, and I couldn’t just delete an article by an established editor without discussion. Now that @MarioSuperstar77 has moved it to mainspace, it deserves a bit more scrutiny.

One thing to note: it’s not actually a subpage of US Capitol riot, subpages don’t work in mainspace. Christopher (talk) 23:38, 3 March 2021 (UTC)

I have no strong feeling either way about this article, so if you were to delete it or move it back into the essayspace I would not contest it, but this 'thing' made very little sense being in essayspace since it's for essays that would otherwise never be allowed on mainspace. At least, as a subpage, it can be used on the article as a template, or it can be made accessible via a link, it can be somewhat convenient since you can find a list of all the Repubs who defended Trump on-site rather than being obligated to go to an external site for a list of Republicans who support Donald Trump. I agree with Christopher, odd as that sounds. I fail to see the point of this.-Flandres (talk) 00:07, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
If we really are going to make this a subpage, shouldn't it be linked to the main article somehow?-Flandres (talk) 03:29, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
