I'd just like to point out that Moses wasn't a Jew, he was a Hebrew until the "peculiar set of circumstances surrounding the events at Mt. Sainai." Lyra § talk 23:01, 2 June 2008 (EDT)

What would be the specific clarification there? Just to ask for definitions since I'm unclear. --Eira omtg! The Goat be praised. 23:05, 2 June 2008 (EDT)
Hebrew = ethnic group in northeast Africa. Jew = Follower of the Torah. Moses never even lived to see the Five Books written, he was only a prohet. Lyra § talk 23:09, 2 June 2008 (EDT)
NUH-UH! He was totally a Jew, and he wrote the Five Books, that's why they're called "1st Moses" through "5th Moses" :P This is a bunch of swill, like claiming that Jesus wasn't a Christian. If he wasn't a Christian, then why did the Jews kill him? HM? HM? --Eira omtg! The Goat be praised. 19:24, 4 June 2008 (EDT)
Moses wasn't originally a Jew. There are very few Jews who think Moses wrote all five books. There were most likely many authors. Moses became a Jew much in the way Mohammad became a Moslem, when God spoke to him and told him that he was the One True God. Lyra § talk 19:52, 4 June 2008 (EDT)
