Notes on second version.

I received a good deal of very helpful feedback on the first version of this essay, to which I am responding in this second version. Here are some of the criticisms made that I have addressed:
  • The words "atheism" and "religion" do not belong in the same sentence.
  • The words "rational" and "religion" do not belong in the same sentence.
  • I mistakenly assume that the majority of atheists are strong atheists.
  • I do not spell out a discernable difference between nature-based Gods and revealed Gods such as YHVH.
The first two of these are due to my unorthodox definition of "religion." I did not expand on this in the first version, as I started to use it when I was still an atheist, and therefore thought it somewhat off-topic. However, much of the criticism was on this point, I have put the appropriate arguments in.
The third was due to my having been a strong atheist, along with most of the other atheists of my acquaintance. It has been pointed out to me that most arguments for atheism argue for weak atheism, so I have edited the essay to cover weak atheism as well.
The fourth, and others, were due mostly to my not explaining things properly. I have incorporated many of my responses from this talk-page into the essay.

OCCAM TIME![edit]

So so sorry to miss this thing's heyday, but this is just ridiculous. Weather is explainable with physics alone. --UglyRat (talk) 17:42, 23 August 2018 (UTC)
