Doctors for Disaster Preparedness
From RationalWiki
Doctors for Disaster Preparedness [1] is a somewhat strange denialist group associated with HIV denialism [2], vaccine denialism [3] global warming denialism, and much more.
They also seem to be associated with the Oregon Petition - mainly through the person of Arthur B. Robinson, initiator of the petition - and its highly dubious claim to have identified 31,072 scientists who oppose the anthropogenic global warming consensus.
Their address at 1601 N. Tucson Blvd. Suite 9, Tucson, Arizona is shared with that of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, for whom Andrew Schlafly is general counsel. Furthermore, Andrew Schlafly was a featured speaker at Doctors for Disaster Preparedness' July 2008 annual conference, where he spoke on "The Education of the World's Great Thinkers".[4]
