Banner

Shouldn't these articles have a banner stating that it's a copy of a spoof? OK, the "regulars" will recognize by the "Conservapedia" tag at the beginning that there is something odd - but a new user might well think that we are as stupid as CP. Criteria for inclusion

What is the criteria that a spoof article has to meet before it is included here? How long does a parody have to remain undetected before it is eligible for listing? I ask this because some parodies don't last very long at all. An article on 'Schlafly values' didn't even last ten minutes but some of "GET STUFFED" vandal's edits remained unreverted for more than 40 minutes.

By the way, I understand that RationalWiki prohibits discussion of any kind about spoof CP articles that have not been caught yet. Is that the case? 71.147.55.55 21:19, 30 October 2008 (EDT)

Possible additions

Is falafel 'not to be confused with loofah' (call up the history on the falafel page) funny enough?

The following persisted on the Dalek page for some time:

Andy and emus

Just joined RW. Andy reminds me very much of Roger Ramjet. I was on Conservapedia for a while for something to do (MylesP), and one of the things I did (and it still gives me a warm glow, is to make a couple of additions to the Emu article there (I'm an Australian, you see). I added a story about how emus used to kick down farm toilets and also an absurd account of how the marsupials banded together and made the long trek from Noah's Ark to Australia. It was gratifying to see it stay there for some time. Eventually, it was removed. And guess who overrode that decision and had my contribution reinstalled? Why, it was none other than Andy himself. Which is why I have a soft spot for old Ramjet. Though probably not as soft as the one between his ears. Have a look [here] It would be gratifying if this one could be added to your list. What do we do with these?

I think only a few from the early days which appear to have been accepted by the CP management (like the arboreal octopus) are worth mentioning, & could be covered in an article on spoofs rather than as a bunch of separate copy-paste pages.
