South Korea is, for the purpose of RationalWiki, a country with the second largest Christian population in Asia. It is also the home country of the Reverend Moon.
South Korea suffered military dictatorship for decades (the Americans wanting a strongman in place to counter democracy Communism, until protesting students eventually forced democratisation of the government.
