I am a practicing internist and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine. For an interesting discussion of my credentials, check this out. I have always been interested in how people bend the truth to suit their particular needs, so when I heard about a site called "Conservapedia"[1], I had to check it out. I began editing, and rapidly found my worst fears confirmed, but also some of my greatest hopes. The site seems to represent something I abhor, but attracted a large number of people of all political stripes who felt compelled to inject truth into the mix.

Contrary to popular belief, I am neither the father nor midwife of RW. I'm flattered, though.
