Coyote
From RationalWiki
Coyote is the Trickster figure in Lakota mythology. He is always getting himself into trouble cause all he can think of is sex, sex, food, sex, (and in the modern re-tellings, good drugs and alcohol). Of course, the Lakota, not being the moralizers that some religions are, do not fault him, or chastise him, or tell him he's a sinner, or kick him out of the group, or any of that other punishment stuff. No, they just laugh at him and say "silly rabbit Coyote, Trix are for kids"
As depicted in the Warner Bros. animated shorts, Coyote spends most of his time laying elaborate schemes to catch Road Runner. They include the slingshot (or rocket) while wearing roller skates scheme, assorted catapults, performance-enhancement vitamins, and so on. All of these are purchased from an Acme Corporation catalog. The CEO of Acme, it turns out, is Road Runner.
All of the above is a bunch of woo. In actuality, the coyote is just canis latrans, an animal of the canid persuasion, and is also sometimes called a "'yote". No pseudo-spiritual new age woo about "trickster" silliness needed.
