About me
I am originally from north central West Virginia and have traveled extensively during my life, 18 countries thus far. I was in the Army Reserves for 8 years, served in Afghanistan as an EOD specialist during the war on terror. I currently work as a researcher/contractor for the National Institutes of Health. You'll often see me working on articles about Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, as well as other items in the biological sciences. I've also taken an interest in hobby programming, debunking false claims against scientific findings and playing the violin. My other major activity is my family, I am married to a wonderful woman who shares the same interests in science as I do and a son who is too young to have any opinion yet, 2 months.
