Do we have the ability to do multi-choice voting so that you can only vote/change a vote for one item in a group? I could imagine it would be useful for things like measuring the number of people with a particular viewpoint or characteristic (e.g. age-ranges) where you would only want to people to select one answer. {{User:Genghis Khant/sig|}} 11:24, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Knew you couldn't keep away

Hi there nice to see you back. I must say it is quite today, edits I made hours ago are still in the RC list. - π 14:47, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

Welcome back. LittleOrangeMessage.jpg Aand I hope you like the little orange message. --BobNot Jim 14:49, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

Thanks, though I can't promise to be as active as before Nx 14:52, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
Nobody wants you to be on hand 24/7, all we want is to see you once in a while. I was despairing for Capturebot when you left ;_; . EddyP 15:00, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
Capturebot2 runs on a new botserver now, and in case it crashes there's a little application that will kick it in the butt and start it again. Nx 15:03, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
Is there an application that kicks Nx in the butt when he's stayed away from RW long enough!? Nutty Roux100x100 anarchy symbol.svgUser:Nutty Roux/sigtalk 16:11, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
Yeah dude, it's called Human. Nice to see you back Nx! SJ Debaser 16:39, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

Welcome back to my pet request

Can you engineer it so additions to the AotW show up on recent changes? Please :) ? ħumanUser talk:Human 02:19, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

MW query

Is there a specialpage to see if any IPs are blocked from even looking at CP? Redchuck.gif ГенгисIs the Pope a Catholic? 09:45, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

No, MW can't block IPs or users from viewing pages AFAIK (although there are some extensions, but those are more like blocking viewing for everyone, not specific IPs) Nx 09:47, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
Presumably, however, you can away do magic on the server to prevent them from viewing it, but I doubt that would be publicly available. Educated educated Phantom! 21:17, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
Obviously, but I highly doubt it, unless "computer security expert" TK got access to the server. Nx (talk) 09:12, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Voting options

Do we have the ability to do multi-choice voting so that you can only vote/change a vote for one item in a group? I could imagine it would be useful for things like measuring the number of people with a particular viewpoint or characteristic (e.g. age-ranges) where you would only want to people to select one answer. The only mw extension I could find is inadequate, however I could extend wigo like I did with sliders (sliders are essentially multichoice, it's just the result that is displayed that's different) Nx (talk) 08:09, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Intercom

Could you fix the typo in the display of old messages, I can't find the MediaWiki page that does. Thanks. - π 04:05, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

You mean the three s-es in message? Ok, I'll fix that Nx (talk) 04:48, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

A question- If there is a [[Special:MYPAGE]] that sends you to your userpage, is there also some featurethat will send you to the "block self" page- like Special:Blockme or something? Thanks. --The Emperor Kneel before Zod! 19:36, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

Not that I know of Nx (talk) 08:09, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
