Please don't take this the wrong way. I am not accusing you of anything. But are you a sockpuppet? SHahB 19:55, 7 May 2008 (EDT)

- I am going to list a number of users.
- Human
- RA
- AKjeldsen
AmesGThis is beyond him- HeartOfGold
- Fox
- Tmtoulouse
- SusanG
Please read them as many times as you need. I will determine whose sock you are based upon your next edit. Thanks, SHahB 20:00, 7 May 2008 (EDT)
- It's definitely not RA. No siree. — Unsigned, by: 85.25.151.22 / talk / contribs 20:01, 7 May 2008 (EDT)
- You're Susan. SHahB
- Nope. Most important reason: Susan can't read talk pages that have too many indents.— Unsigned, by: 85.25.151.22 / talk / contribs 20:04, 7 May 2008 (EDT)
- You're Susan. SHahB
- Henry, you're making an obvious mistake here in assuming that any given individual only has one essential identity, and that any other identity assumed by that individual can be dismissed as a "sockpuppet." This is obviously not in keeping with the fluid nature of identities on the Internet. --AKjeldsenCum dissensie 20:06, 7 May 2008 (EDT)
- Shut up, User:Human. SHahB 20:07, 7 May 2008 (EDT)
Also, why is this "beyond" AmesG? Isn't he the Arch-Sockpuppeteer and Warden of the White Isle?— Unsigned, by: 85.25.151.22 / talk / contribs 20:08, 7 May 2008 (EDT)

- Go ahead and look. If you find any, its probably deceit. SHahB 20:13, 7 May 2008 (EDT)
- Of course! It all makes sense now! And why HeartOfGold? Do you have such a low opinion of him that you envision him returning to RW through an irreverant sockpuppet?— Unsigned, by: 85.25.151.22 / talk / contribs 20:17, 7 May 2008 (EDT)

- (Edit conflict) Well, it seems that TK blocked him for an infinite amount of time and deleted his userpages for a start. HG was before my time, but I was under the impression that there'd been some kind of falling out over there? Was I wrong?— Unsigned, by: 85.25.151.22 / talk / contribs 20:28, 7 May 2008 (EDT)

(Undent) Somehow I got it into my head that HG had been banned at CP because some of the more ruthless sysops suspected him of being a deep cover sock. I can't find anything in his contributions to back that up, though. I'm probably thinking of someone else.— Unsigned, by: 55.55.55.55 / talk / contribs 15:51, 11 May 2008 (EDT)

WP link issue
Well, geez, nothing can go wrong with that, can it? Might it not be easier to create a template saying that WP links should, if possible, be replaced with internal links rather than leaving someone without an easy way to find the intended information on the other side of the hyperlink? It's really not a good idea to sacrifice usability and accessibility for a hopeful future link -- that just expands the list of red links while leaving the person looking for further information high and dry. Not at all a good idea, sez I. EVDebs 19:19, 14 May 2008 (EDT)
- I'm not the originator of this nefarious scheme. I was just playing along because the logic behind it seemed to make sense. The others are debating it on user talk:wpbot if you want to disagree with someone important.
