This discussion has been moved to a more appropriate page, [[{{{1}}}|{{{1}}}]].
This template denotes a discussion thread that has been cut-and-pasted onto a different page. It is placed where the relocated discussion originally started.
The main parameter which is used to link to name the page the discussion was moved to.
For example, {{movedto|RationalWiki:Saloon bar}} produces:
This discussion has been moved to a more appropriate page, RationalWiki:Saloon bar.
An optional second parameter is used to specify the section of the page where the discussion has been moved. It must always begin with a #.
For example, {{movedto|RationalWiki:Saloon bar|#Moved from WIGO}} produces text looking the same as above, but linking straight to a section of the Saloon bar called "Moved from WIGO".
Use in conjunction with Template:Movedfrom.
